yeah im on almost every night myself...but late. TV sux so I play games after the day is over.

So many fun games to play.

I find myself not touching the online any more for NHL11, but I just play offline. I don't play any other game but NHL. I get those feelings that I could be doing something else instead of playing a game, but then I load up my chise and I am fine. If that gets old then I don't know what else would happen. I bought StarCraft 2 and never play that anymore.

I guess as you get older, gaming just takes a backseat. I could sit and play for 8 hours a night, or I could do something else.

Think Im going to quit buying the sports games and get on the latest FPS craze/RPG shit. Then use it as a DVD player.

First Person Shooters all all fun still even if they are over saturated. Just take advantage of the Kmart deals, Ive bought Castlevania, Enslaved, Vanquish and Dead Rising 2 all brand new just as they came out for $120. That's $30 a game for day 1 releases. Kmart is the fucking shit.

I was in a similar funk not too long ago too, I started playing more FPS, Oblivion, Fallout, Mass Effect, etc. and I haven't looked back.

I still do play my big sport games NCAA Football and NBA 2k, but other than that I don't limit myself to JUST sports game like I use to.

I have barely been xboxing at all lately, tried forcing myself into gaming by buying Mafia 2 and Halo Reach.. failure. RPGs are the only games really worth playing anymore, I had to trade in all my sports game because they're so dull. Games like Fallout, Oblivion, Mass Effect etc. are what's really keeping an xbox in my house right now.

Also you cant forget the zombie killing games. (L4D, Nazi Zombies) And the classic Wii games like Mario Party, Super Smash Bros, No More Heroes, etc. etc.

Is this your first "Gaming Funk"? I had one before and for like a 4 month period I didn't pay attention to anything that was happening in the gaming world and I didn't play anything. Eventually came back around though, just gotta spice things up a bit.

Besides the Online league games I never play anything anymore. And I have Mass Effect and Dragon age unfinished. I just dont have the urge to play anything for long periods of time now. Ive lost the desire to game!

Like others have said you should really branch out from just the sports games.

You should probably just sign up for Gamefly and try out some other genres. You're bound to find a few games that will get you back into loving games.

Yeah the past two years or so, I've bought a game, played it obsessively for a week and then had absolutely no interest in playing it again. Every time I think about playing I just realize that it is a waste of time. I had been anticipating Fallout New Vegas for over a year now and I'm not even sure if i'm going to pick it up anymore.

Lately me and my suitemates have been playing a round of Mario Party 2 on N64 almost every night. Nostalgia is really the only thing that can keep me interested in gaming anymore. I missed playing with all of your friends in the same room on the same TV. You know how shitty Mario Party would be if it was online?

This is very similar to my situation. Really the only games I play now are sports games and Super Smash Bros. with friends on my floor. I have very little interest in putting any sort of time investment into a game.
