Most football savvy observers recognize that Art Monk wasnt even as good as Gary Clark, and there were years you could argue he was the third best WR on his own team.

I suppose you could argue reasonably that TO could be a fringe top 10 guy, but he has tons of holes in his game and I think it would be pretty easy to come up with 10 better guys - and that's without even considering his negative inatgibles that have to take him down a few notches.

I always saw James Lofton as a one dimentional player. I have the least amount of grip with him out of the three.

People like Jim Brown and Don Hutson were leaps and bounds ahead of their peers in the eras they played. Jerry's just the present ultimate stat leader because a juggernaut team helped him get there. YAC stats don't go back further than 93-94 but even then his career high was 5.7 and his career average was 2.2. So I'll split the difference with you. 3.95. So explain to me how Jerry Rice catching 5 yard outs and running forward an average of 3.95 yards equates a career YPC average of 14.8.
