I tried to go to a Hollywood Video yesterday. There weren't any signs that said it was Out of Business but it sure looked that way. All the lights were off and not a sole in the parking lot.
 
No you don't have to be a member.

Also don't just check the used section, which is pretty much just 2k7 sports games left. Go to the sections that have the "game vault" parts on them (not new release) and they can pretty much "pull" any game for you to buy that they have 3 or more copies of. So if say there's 4x Fallout 3's, just bring it up to the counter ask for them to pull it (along with anything else you grab) and apply the code. $4.99 each.

I've basically bought the following thx to this sale.

Fallout 3, Ghostbusters, Call Juarez: Bound in Blood, Resident Evil 5, Fight Night Round 4, Soul Caliber IV, Street Fighter IV, Kane & Lynch, Saints Row 2, X-Men Wolverine Uncaged Edition, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Mercenaries 2, Crackdown, Blue Dragon, Alone in the Dark, Smackdown vs. Raw 09, NBA 2k9, Prince of Persia, Eternal Sonata, Star Wars: Force Unleashed, Ninja Blade, Silent Hill: homecoming, Infinite Undiscovery, HAWX, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

for 4.99 each, so about $125, with $100 in credit currently at gamestop for the other $25 I spent on it.

With gamefly selling UFC Undisputed/Star Ocean/Chronicles of Riddick/Far Cry 2/Dead Space for 9.99-$15 each, my recent acquisitions of CoD:MW2/Halo3:ODST/Borderlands in the gamestop b2g1 free, and the backlog of Fable 2/Left 4 Dead 2, steam's sales...

...basically I gave myself a merry x-mas and won't buy any more games once I use this store credit for the next year+ since i've got so much to finish. Oh well, it's just a paycheck >.<

No. You can get a gift card this week and use it next week (while getting MAG for $40). First you have to be a reward member at Toys R Us. It's free to join and can be done the same day as when you buy the game.

Go tomorrow (Tuesday 1/19) and buy 2 of the following games: Dark Void, Bayonetta, Army of 2, or Darksiders. You will get a $60 gift card. Go Tuesday 1/26 and buy Mass Effect 2 (basically free if you use the $60 gift card) and get $20 off any game $60+.
 
that pisses me off that they are doing the $20 off any game if you buy Mass Effect 2. I was really hoping they would do the gift card like they always do with big games.
