I just read over at Gamefaqs that TRU has made a correction to their 2 for $50 deal. They are saying it was a typo and it's supposed to be Buy 2 get a $50 gift card.

I was thinking of driving there, grabbing the ad, and then driving down the street to BB for a price match. But I'm guessing TRU probably pulled all those ads.

Yeah, well I checked it out anyway. I had to go to Best Buy anyway to shop for a camera for my father-in-laws birthday so I figured I'd give it a shot. No go. They apparently threw all their ads in the trash and had a sign at the register in the games section that said there was a correction. This one dumb bitch said "Well, it was a limited thing that you missed out on." When I showed her the saved pic on my phone of the ad which clearly said "Week long deal 06/19-06/25" all she could say was, I'm not really a manager so I can't do anything. Then when the manager did come by he was just as dumb and clueless. The only he could say was "Call 1-800-TOYS-R-US".

When I went to Best Buy, after reserving my Vita at Gamestop across the street, the girl there tried to tell me they don't price match "package deals". What? Yet on Gamefaqs alone there were several people that said they were able to get BB to price match.

You've got to love how you get a different answer from every employee you talk to.

Do you need any deposit to for the Vita? I know its $5 for games, or used to be.

Of course you do. They won't let you reserve anything anywhere without some kind of deposit.

It was $50. I'm guessing it's the same for both versions but I'm not sure. I'm getting the wi-fi only version.

Gamestop.com you will not need a deposit. they will put a hold on your account for the full amount for a few days then take it off. They will charge you when the product ships.
 
TRU can suck a fat one. I took a copy of their e-mail showing the Buy 2 for $50 promotion and got Walmart to price match no problem. Got Brink and FEAR 3 (both 360) for $50.

what hassle...you could list that game in like 2 mins and have the money in your paypal in like 30 mins.

Print the address form off paypal and slap it on a small envelope.....done.

I was thinking of snagging that for myself as well. I also have $20 in SYWR so it would only be $15.

I'm thinking of just ordering online since shipping is only .99 cents and I probably will not have a chance to get into a store this week.
