ill take Auburn because if Bama's D couldnt stop him, i dont see Oregon's D doing it.

SMH at people still using Alabama's defense as a measuring stick. Bama was maybe the 3rd best defense he faced all year, and I'd even say 4th.

Cam is a great player, to beat him a team is going to have to force him into some turnovers and play mistake-free when it has possession. Oregon can beat Auburn, the Ducks are a really tough match up for them. But then again, I thought South Carolina would be in their rematch. It's gonna come down to whether or not Darron Thomas can play well.

My brain says Auburn by double digits, but I'll be pulling for Oregon. I'm tired of these SEC dick riders in Louisiana acting like every other conference is full of FCS schools.

Lol no. You're just bitching because Alabama choked hardcore against Auburn a week ago.

I've been saying since even before the Iron Bowl, that if Auburn plays Oregon, they'll get slaughtered. Auburn couldn't stop Alabama's offense (before they let off the gas and lost momentum), and I don't see Auburn slowing down Oregon.

And Oregon is a team that will keep scoring and scoring and not slowing down until the 4th quarter where they have a huge lead.

I'd rather you just say something correct. Alabama's D was pretty average this year, actually.

In addition to LSU, Mississippi State's and South Carolina's defensive units were > Alabama's. But it doesn't matter because Auburn beat all of them.

I just think it's hilarious that those who don't watch all of the games just throw out an incorrect assumption and then get pissy when someone calls them on it.

the thing is, i have watched most of Auburn's games (granted not the Miss St game) and despite Alabama's D not being the best Newton has faced, i would still hold it higher than i would Oregon's D.

You don't understand... Oregon's OFFENSE is a huge part of the defense... they score so quick and make big plays and put pressure on the other offense to come right back with a quick answer. Love watching this team. You can say what you want about what conferences they play in, but statistically... Oregon is better in almost every major category offense and defense. Should be one of the higher scoring more exciting Bowl games in a while....hopefully.
