God the Hawks goaltending situation gives me headache. Niemi is doing in a fine job going into the Olympics, he basically won the #1 Spot away from Huet. Come back form the Olympic break and Niemi gives up 3 goals to the Islanders and Q pulls him brings in Huet who gives up 2 soft goals. Then goes with Huet in back to back to back games. Huet looked shaky in the first two allowing more soft goals, and then he gets fuckin shelled in the 2nd period of the Wings game.
At this point the Hawks have to score 4+ every night just to have a chance to win.

It is true Kle, you have this sort of "sky is falling" mind. Kind of funny you actually said "overhyped goaltending" when we were telling you that for years. Detroit's good goaltending came from their strong depth of a team, and their strong defence, not from their actual goalie being anything more then a body in front of the net.
And as wr50l said, Red Wings say go on a little streak, get into like 6th or something, you'll be all "my guys are great, they will make a deep run again, I knew they could do it all along." You flip flop more then any hockey fan here. Hell even the leaf fans aren't as bad as you, and they haven't seen playoffs in years. We always said, once the wings get exposed for what they do, they will just be another team.
