I posted awhile back that the Jackets problem is themselves, and really isn't to much of the players. What I mean is, the organization has fucked up so badly drafting, that Nash is the only remaining guy since like 1999-2006 or so that is still with the team. They have had a top 10 pick like 10 years in the last 11, and they still manage to fuck it up every single year. The only draft pick they got right was the first overall and it was Nash.
The best thing for the Jackets to do would be to finish last, draft Nail Yakupov, and then try their hardest to get a second pick OR hope that Alex Galchenyuk falls out of the top 30 becase of his injury this year and take a sick chance on him. If Columbus had the chance to reunite those two, a lot of their problems could be solved. And with Galchenyuk out till playoff time this year, I would say the chances of him falling out of the top 30 are fairly good. He is already out of the top 10 in a month.
