What is sad is, the investigation into this will take less time then chara's.
They can do this on a flipping Friday, but WHY YOU NO DO THIS EVERY SATURDAY.
Fucking NHL, this is exactly the shit I have been saying to do. You got this sexy deal with NBC, so get those fuckers, and TSN and CBC all showing hockey on Saturday. Get pre-game shows like NFL does, like 2 hrs before game time, and get some good characters on the shows and you get a winner.
Just think of an line up of Pierre McGuire, get Jeremy Roenick on there as well, and add one more colour guy not named Milbury, and you got a sweet 2 hour show.

Things are not going well for the Caps right now. Started off well, but we are 3-6-1 in our past 10. Semin has been benched and then a healthy scratch and looks like he doesn't want to play anymore. Ovechkin has struggled and isn't even on a PPG pace. Just an interesting note, Nicklas Backstrom is the only player currently averaging that. Veteran Mike Knuble was on the fourth line at a point.
You have to :jonesy: when you see Jason Chimera leading the team in goals, and when you see the Panthers on top of this division.
At this point, I wonder if Boudreau is going to make it through the season. He is dangerously close to losing the locker room.

We started 7-0, beating Florida, Carolina, Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Philly, Detroit and Ottawa. Its been slow going since then, and because we started like we did, I think it is a dangerous place for Boudreau right now.
I also agree with you on Semin. If he keeps this up, he certainly won't be getting paid $6 million a season next year, and his only option may be a one year deal. Heck, the Caps may not even want him back, regardless of Boudreau. He just hasn't bought into the defense-first philosophy installed almost a year ago.
