Seems like it was a really good game to go to. I was walking in the bar at work and I looked at the TV and saw were up 2-0 6 minutes into the game and almost let out a holy shit in front of some customers.

It was one of the better games I've gone to especially with the Modano goal and Datsyuk fight.

Carey Price really needed that win. The second Penguins goal was soft, yet he played a brilliant game.
I don't like the Halak decision, but it's over now. Gotta support the home team.
I hope Halak has a ton of success in St. Louis and I hope Price has the same in Montreal.
Lars Eller looks like a keeper. His penalty tonight likely saved a goal.

Was waiting to see your new ranger love for the year. So far we have had Dubinsky and Lisin.

Bulin playing like a stud again right now, making some in close saves against Florida. He can't make the team great on ther own, but having a least a goalie who isn't a liability will really help grow the younger talent. Lossing every week isn't what these young guys need.

Poor giveaway ends Bulin's shutout streak to start the season. Should add the shots on goal are 11-3 for Florida. And Edmonton is winning 2-1.

Going to see the Habs play at their first home game Wednesday. They are playing Tampa Bay who have a bunch of French Quebeckers on their team + the possibility of a win is extremely high. Hope it's gonna be as fun as last year.

People keep underestimating the Habs.

I don't underestimate the habs, I beg them for exactly where they are. They're your 6th to 10th place team in the East, and until they learn that Price is not the answer for the what, 4th year now, they will always be there. Who know's if Halak was a one hit wonder, but to trade him away during the off season and say Price is where we are going is something to shake your head at in terms of management. Do you seriously trust that kind of leadership to bring you to a Stanley Cup anytime soon?

And I also think many underestimate Tampa Bay. This isn't last years team. They have more weapons, a better goalie then Mike Smith, and their youngin's are growing well. With Price in net against this Tampa offence, I would be worried.

So Edmonton wins again last night. Five teams are still perfect, of which four did not make the playoffs last season. Toronto, Edmonton, Carolina, and Dallas all start 2-0. Odd to see them there but a good change.

The habs are going to be pretty much the same team they were last year. A bunch of small forwards (except eller) who have to fight their way through to get shots in. Slow defense who lose position alot and give up a ton of shots per game all the while hoping their goalie can save anywhere from 35 to 40 shots a night.
