Parise is just an odd story because he apparently wants out of New Jersey, but do the Devils jus trade away him? If they wanted, they could hold his rights till the summer, see who offers the most, and take a shit load of first round picks for him, or start looking now.

LA would be a good fit for him, and you have to know Burke would be in there as well, since he and Parise did the Team USA thing. Throw him on a line with Kessel and win.

Either way, the Devils are in for a shit storm of hurt if Kovy doesn't start playing up to his money. I said it all along, this guy was not worth the money they were paying him. I even said he should be a 6-7M per year player. And no, not 'cap hit 6-7M' player, as in, he only makes 7M at the most of any given year. He was Atlanta's only scorer, and did fuck all with the Devils. I'm glad to see them get burned, and I am glad to see people like Parise most likely pissed about it, because you got to know, that is one of the reasons he wants out.

And Crosby is on a 16 game point streak. 18 goals and 15 assists in that span. Guy has 48points in 29 games. He is on pace for a 135 point season, with a 67 goal season.

Now that is unlikely, but glad to see he's doing his job. Second place on the Penguins in scoring....Evgeni Malk.....um no. Kris Letang. Malkin in third in scoring with 8G 14A. Would be great if he started playing like he can.

The Capitals need a coach that will hold the players to account because most of them play the regular season like it's the All-Star Game.

As it is now, Ovechkin finishes a shift whenever he wants to, the other team gets an odd man rush as a result and scores, and Bruce Boudreaus stands there tapping his head to remove evil thoughts (srs) then sends the guys back out to play more wild hockey.

Their defencemen aren't necessarily the problem, they have four stay at home guys. Their forwards just don't give a fuck because they have license to gas themselves on offence then come off when they lose the puck.
