I was proud of my Canadiens Wednesday night, despite the loss.

Carey Price had Tim Thomas down in a fight, and never threw one punch. Showed class. Clearly two non-fighters.

Benoit Pouliot had David Krejci down, vulnerable. Didn't throw a punch.

I was pissed when I saw Johnny Boychuk wailing away on Jaroslav Spacek after he was down. Clearly Spacek is an old guy who never fights, Boychuk was a fucking punk. Spacek was done and Boychuk kept punching away.
I really hope Montreal deals with that jerk in our next game.

I understand the game is emotional, but follow the fucking code. Once you've won the fight, it's over. Especially when you're fighting a non-fighter.

Boston won fair and square, I have no problem with that ... but beating up on old Spacek was uncalled for. I hope Montreal can find Oggy Ogolthorpe for the next game to deal with Boychuk. That was bullshit.

Then somehow Puilot ends up fighting Kreicji which is LOL and the Bruins took offense to it. Guy backs down from all the legit people but then when there is a scrum gets DK to drop them lol. Giant pussy he is. Congrats to the douche who wanted to fight Ference at the end of the game because he got his two teamates a can of whoop ass, bc Campbell and Boychuck unloaded.

Game was awesome to be at, and its so funny to watch Subban skate around avoiding fights. But Dave don't be clueless Boychuck stopped punching with Spacek went down, and as long as hes standing Boychuck is going to keep punching because anyone would do the same.

Just an FYI, that never happened.

Moen took a few shots after he was down but that was about it.

Would of loved to see Lucic give Subban a go but typical the refs jumped in to save the little bitch mouth.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game (hoping to catch it today on NHL replay) but it looked like it was subban that pretty much started it and then once guys got involved with price it was game over.

My family gets both Center Ice and Extra Innings (might be the wrong name but the MLB package) and they are far overdue for all HD games. It's ridiculous that we have to watch them in standard definition. Especially hockey, which is 5x better in HD.

Thought extra innings were all in HD....I guess I never watched any that weren't. Not too many NHL games not in HD, but when I do want to see one and find out it's not in HD..it does piss me off. One reason I've didn't sign up for Basketball this year. I'm hoping next year all games will be in HD; that is the only pro package I don't have (got baseball, football, and hockey).

edit: thinking about it...do remember seeing games not in HD for baseball.

Down their two best defencemen most of the season to injury, and after trading their playoff hero, they're still a legit playoff team.

Look at that. Boychuk starts wailing on spacek around the 45 second mark. They cut away and go back and you see him standing over spacek not throwing anything and you see the ref standing there telling them good fight. If he was still swinging the ref would of jumped it. Get your canadien blinders off.

lol @ calling the leafs a collection of players. Here's hoping the collection of players doesn't run the score up on the canadiens or are they going to be relying on Price to bail them out like they always do.

Not happy about the loss to the Isles tonight. For whatever reason, the Habs have difficulty with that team.
Auld should have stopped a breakaway goal tonight, but in fairness, it's not his fault the D broke down and gave up that breakaway ... and it was a nice pass.
