Been watching the game since my one buddy who is a wings fan is over. First period was really bad for the wings. I'm sure Babcock just layed into them during the intermission because they came out flying in the second.

Fleury with the shutout. They admittedly missed a few high sticks TB's way, but some of the saves Flower was making out there were incredible.

Detroit/Phx - Decent game but very soft. I watched the whole thing. Detroit controlled the 2nd and 3rd periods by cycling the puck and getting shots from the point. Classic Wings.
Vancouver/Chicago - Awesome game. Very physical. Vancouver owned the first period and most of the 2nd but Chicago definitely had some great chances where they probably should have scored.
Got to watch some of the NYR/WSH game but not much. Wish I got to see some of the Anaheim/NSH game, looks like NSH dominated?

Ducks were playing soft, and Nashville just did what Nashville has done all season. Not to also mention that Rinne was lights out in the game. Guy made so many insane saves. I think he can easily steal the series from the ducks. Ducks have one big line really, and by putting out their best defensive guys (and most forwards are two way guys) they shut them down easily. Plus not having a solid goalie for the Ducks will hurt them. I can't see them getting by the first round with Ellis and Emery.
Vancouver game was awesome. Pure domination by the Canucks in that one. Chicago had the 3rd, but I put that up to desperation and needing to score, where as Vancouver could just take it easy a little, even more so with the way Roberto was playing. If they are going to double/triple shift the Toews line all series, it could spell problems. Hawks just don't have the depth like they did last year.
Rangers/Capitals game was a thrilling game as well. The King is going to have to play amazing hockey to stay in this series. He was keeping them in that game, but you got to know sooner or later Washington is just going to explode.
Penguins/Lightning was great. Each team split the first two periods, and then the third was just great for the Pens. I already made my comments about this, but to me this win is huge for a team with no superstar.

And on a good note, I won proline last night. Picked Pittsburgh, Washington, Vancouver, Nashville to all win, plus Ovey over Gabby in the Rangers game, and I tied on D.Sedin and Toews, so I get the push on that one. Only $34 bucks off a $2 bet.

Cautiously optimistic about the Flyers series...yes I believe they have the overall advantage as far as talent goes (except in net of course) but unless they start playing like they did pre All-Star break I wouldn't be shocked to see the Sabres win.
