The injury bug is biting the Sabres hard, Kaleta is ruled out tonight and Leopold and Mike Grier are game time decisions due to not being able to practice this morning. Also Derek Roy is trying to come back but apparently he was making a lot of mental errors in practice today. I'll believe Leopold and Grier being out when I see it though.
 
Typical classy Habs fans throwing shit on the ice. That was obviously a terrible call, but come on.

Of course they naturally ignore the fact that Gomez got away with an obvious penalty on Bergeron to start the breakout to begin with.
 
Vancouver has come out with the same pace they played with in the first 3 games of the series. D is pinching, hitting, finishing checks all over the ice, skating full speed.

Let's see if they can keep it up.
 
What a fucking awesome game. Glad to see the Flyers play some great hockey with Pronger getting 17 minutes on the ice. Bring on the 2nd round.

Vancouvers pressure is insane right now. Where the hell was that in games 4 through 6? I don't think Crawford will be able to stand this much more, or something is going to go in fluky for the Hawks.
 
The montreal game's officiating was horrible. It's like the NHL wanted them to goto a game 7 so they just threw as many 5 on 3's as possible.

The slashing call on Horton in the first (or second can't remember now) was a brutal call.

Lucic though might be done for the next game. That was a pretty classic hit from behind.

The other thing about Montreal fans, they will only live in the past when it is good for them. Here are all the playoff apperances, after the lockout.

2006 - Eliminated first round 4-2 by Carolina (blew 2-0 series lead)
2007 - Missed playoffs
2008 - 1st in east, had to go to 7 against Boston(8th) and then got owned 4-1 vs Philly
2009 - Lost 4-0 to boston in the first round

You did well last season all because of Halek. Nothing more, nothing less. When he stopped 40-50 shots a game, it didn't matter that the midgets didn't need to do anything.

I have never said my team was perfect - they are not. But they make the playoffs, they make playoff TV viewing exciting.
Sorry you can't say the same about your team.

I don't deny for a second my team is too small, gets outplayed at times, etc... but they're counter punchers and do that well. And they don't get enough credit for their experienced D, their shot blocking and the number of guys on the team that have Stanley Cup rings.
