I REALLY thought that the Flyers had turned a corner after the game 7 domination vs. Buffalo.....boy was I wrong.

There shouldn't of even been a game 7.

Like you guys said earlier this is what happends when you start fading bad at the end of the season and start to lose confidence.

Like the past 20 seasons though philly fans are going into the off season saying "we need to address the goalie situation". I wish they would because they (imo) were the only team that could match up against any of the teams in the west.

I'm rolling tampa till the end now. If boston makes it I'm chirpin everyone.

Hell of a game last night in Detroit. Lidstroms second goal was just plain sick. Wings brought everything they could and barely won.

Tomorrows game should be another dandy as every game in this series so far has been decided by 1 goal.

I may or may not goto game 6 in detroit. We're obviously waiting to see what happends on sunday but if we go it will be glorious. We might hunt down those shark fans they keep putting on tv when the sharks score and have a big sign ready if the sharks score :smug:

Haven't finished watching the game yet since I just got home from some mother's day shit but figured it's time to change up the avatar to try and help Marleau get out of this funk.

And, really, an argument could be made for Lidstrom being the second best defenceman in NHL history (this comment really annoys our 53-year-old sports reporter).

Datsyuk and Zetterberg are two of my favorite players. Even when they aren't scoring, they are doing other things to help their team win. Although the Red Wings had to rally just to stay alive, it shouldn't be too surprising that they came back to score 3 goals in the 3rd period because their team is so talented. Should be an interesting series now.

I think if people get over their Bobby Orr love, I think a case could be made that Lidstrom and Bourque are the two most accomplished defensemen in NHL history.
