I forget which match it was, either Blackpool or Wigan, but literally the entire method of getting Torres the ball was Carra just booting it in Torres' general direction. It was pathetic.

The worse part about Roy is when we get down, especially away from Anfield, he just gets more and more negative and doesn't even try to equalize. He's just a completely incompetent manager.

I also saw that Aquilani has ZERO intentions of coming back. That was my biggest problem with lettin him go, I knew he would never play there again. I thought if given the chance he could play, but now Juve will have him for good.

Roy also brought in Poulsen.
Roy also plays players out of position each and every game.
Roy also plays negatively each and every game.
Roy also plays Torres alone and stranded up top hoofing the ball to him as if he's the world's biggest/strongest target man.
Roy also says completely boneheaded things, which only serve to alienate everyone involved with the club.
Roy also can't seem to figure how to win an away match in the Premiership (this dates back further than his time at Liverpool)
Roy also allowed Aquilani to move to Juve where he's been a huge boost to the club.
Roy also seems to have alienated our best defender in Agger.

You say, "I don't know what a coach with a backline..." Yet Rafa managed a better run with virtually the exact same squad. Minus the shit players like Poulsen and Konchesky. We're much better than we're showing, and Roy really should be doing better. Despite your assertion that we're just a shitty team.

I stood by the guy for SO long this season, but at some point you really have to wonder what the fuck he's doing.

While I agree with what you are saying, this is a team that finished 7th last year. Not a group of world beaters. Perhaps a different manager and some better signings would have helped. But I do wonder if perhaps this is just the level the Liverpool are at right now.

Torres and Reina are top class, but they don't seem to give a shit anymore. Torres is also burnt out, both by Rafa and Roy. Gerrard still has moments, but those get further and further apart as he ages.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Agger hasn't exactly played a lot under either manager as well. Talented he may be he is injury prone.

This was a team going nowhere under Hicks and Gillett. To pretend that better signings and a better manager would have come on in the summer is a fallacy. Arsenal, City, United, Spurs and Chelsea all have better squads. On the right day I'd say Everton was better, and if MoN was still there, Villa too. History is history, unfortunately until some things change Liverpool is on the same level as Sunderland and Bolton, not United and Arsenal

but did he ever really play there to begin with? All I ever saw him do was ride the pine, and maybe get thrown a bone for the last 20 minutes. And at that point it was like; "Hey, Aquilani, you are supposedly really skilled.....get out there and set up some goals!!"

Yeah he had a really terrible experience with us last year and I don't think anyone really thought he was coming back.

Part of his terrible experience was injuries. He got hurt early. Then Rafa lost faith and he never got a real run of games. Without his real stretch of PT, he never got settled in England. Terrible experience yes, but I dont think he is a shit player.
