I couldn't be happier. He is going to have quite a bit of playing time for SAFC, and Liverpool couldn't possibly overpay for a backup, could they? I've heard of him as the second coming of Wayne Rooney, and if this is true then how about two or three good years before we sell him off.

Now SAFC just needs to shore up the negotiations with Darron Gibson, Craig Gardner, John O'Shea, and N'Zogbia and we'll have something to work with.

SAFC has added Korean phenom Ji-Dong Won, and Birmingham City's Craig Gardner in the last 24 hours as well. Are these guys any good? The team looks to be a lot different next year, and I'm hoping for the better.

I don't rate Gardner, but some people do. He's pretty average, but if you're not relying on him a lot he could be a good squad player. Won is alright, not a prolific goal scorer but young and physical. In fact, he can do pretty much anything but score, but that could change. He's Korea's backup striker at the moment since they play one up top. But he's cheap and at worse you'll get what you pay for.

Also, I only know that because of a Korean poster on Newcastle-Online going on about him, I don't follow too much K-League.
 
Apparently Won is/was the next big thing in the K-League, so well see how he does in the Prem.

Park Chu Young, Korea's starting CF is available. He plays for Monaco, they got relegated and hes ready to move. if United didnt already have 17 forwards, I would be drooling all over him. Cheap too. Ive heard him rumored with Liverpool. I would be mad...

Anyone else been watching the Women's World Cup? I really think they need slightly smaller nets for the women. These keepers seem like they can't cover any space at all, and it's because they are all like 5'6"
 
I watched the USA game for a little the other day....what a waste of time, the play was so boring. Barely got any shots on goal and the ball got intercepted every other pass.
 
This Copa game between BRazil and Venezuala is terribly drab. Brazil seem to be out of ideas, and this Ganzo fellow continues to give the ball away cheaply. They seem to fall in to the trap of standing 4 guys around the ball at all times
 
Just think about how much Ganzo will be sold for too.

And that fucking goal. That was just....just beautiful.
