The Vampire Diaries Season 2....

 
Whats complete bullshit is that Michael, the all powerful vampire whose been chasing Klaus for 1000 years dies 2 episodes after we meet him. Sometimes this shows biggest strength hurts it.

That ghost episode revealed just how awesome Mason Lockwood was as a character and they killed him off far too early.
 
Just got all the way caught up...I'm interested to see if Stefan 'wakes up' any of Klaus' family. There's really no indication about what's going to happen the rest of the season.

Stefan had 4 coffins, 1 for Elijah and the other 3 were the rest of the family we haven't seen yet.

I wanna know why the 3 "strangers" in the coffin have seemingly been irrelevant in the Original Vampires story line. How could they be originals if they weren't around in the village at the time?

The most impressive thing about this show is just how well each character seems to get developed.

Klaus could've just been some fucking tool, but the actor they got to play him is fucking perfect with that playful yet sinister grin he gives when he talks. I think he might have taken over as my favorite character on the show. I love how he's supposed to be so evil, yet I whenever they reveal shit about his past and just how much he loves his family, I can't help but feel sorry for the guy.

Then to top it off this past episode, Stephan made the transition from tool to cool. This is the first time that I began to question if he'll ever be the same Stephan again. I really think is he gone now and they won't be going back.

But as far as Stephan he probably wont return back, didn't he say before that in the past it'd take him decades to get back to normal?
 
This show also does a great job of making great moments for each character. Just when you fell in love with Rebecca and things go her way, BOOM, bitch gets stabbed and cant go to her first dance and you feel so fucking bad for her. They do it with each character. Which brings me to another topic. How fucking pathetic is Matts character? Hes so god damn useless.
 
So Bonnie's mom was the one who put Klaus dad in the coffin?

Really curious to see what happens from here since the only real hope of killing Klaus (as of now anyway) just took his side.
 
I really love moments when Klaus is actually scared. Hes plays the cocky smooth talker so much that when hes actually frightened by something, it really catches your eye.
 
In non show related news:

Nina Dobrev had a nice game at the Celebrity Beach Bowl:yep:, with two impressive catches and a stop on T.O. who was running at full speed. Also, Caroline's actress came out of nowhere and stopped Dobrev after one of her catches. Until that point I didn't even know she was there.

Much more entertaining then the pro bowl.
