Hosting a viewing party at my joint on Sunday. Going to watch Dead Snow to start things off, and then launch into Walking Dead. Should be fucking awesome.

New trade comes out on Nov 23, so it is a Walking Dead filled couple of weeks
 
Read the graphic novel awhile back. Damned good stuff.

Managed to "preview" the first episode the other day. Strong start. They captured the drama and confusion pretty well.

Under most circumstances, I would be the same. Wouldn't normally pick watching it on the laptop over the TV. But I'll be in Vegas celebrating Halloween on Sunday, so I figured I'd give it a watch. Didn't go looking for it, though - just kinda found it so I figured why not...

I'm just glad to hear you thought it was good. Like I said IGN reviewed but sometimes their scores are skewered because their hype for it gets in the way.

I bet this show will be one that kind of starts off with kind of lower ratings for the first season then, hopefully, a bunch of people will starting hearing about it and catch on the end of the first season or between the first and second seasons.

I've been able to resist for 10 days, the leaked rip is shitty quality that judging by the screenshots is barely above your average youtube video.

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't AMC who leaked the shitty quality video themselves as a way to generate hype and draw people in.
 
I'll definitely start to watch it since I don't watch anything else at 10, and if it holds my interest I'll save Eastbound and Down for tomorrow since I know HBO puts their stuff On-Demand real quickly.
