There is no defense in this game

You can score at will in the paint because the AI defenders always favor the ball instead of their man. Several times have my guys been in position to defend, but end up being turned around magically in the paint. Perimeter defense is fine, but the post defense is HORRIBLE and it allows for absurdly easy alley-oops. Derrick Rose and Devin Harris pretty much tried to throw alley-oops all game - and they worked.

Nets (CPU) - 89 Points/76 PIP

Points in the paint has been a big issue with this game for a while.
It's a shame, because it's been a fine online game otherwise.

If you abuse it, it is a problem.

If you play a sim opponent, you will be fine.

lol.. go to options. controller > controller setup or something like that

there is a slider for cpu defensive help strength. turn it down. I was having the same problem, the CPU overcompensating too much. turned it down, now the AI doesn't do it anymore and sticks to their man like I want them to.

it's easy to complain about something and say a game is fucked up if you're not aware of a setting that corrects it.

Yea. You need to find a more sim opponent.

This wasn't against a human, it was against the computer on All-Star. The CPU scored 85% of their points in the paint. I could only imagine what would happen against an actual person.

Very much so.

I know to use sliders, but I find it fucked up they still haven't addressed it after last year. And 2K made post defense retarded again, so I would say the onus is on them.

I agree with post defense If you try to reach at all, the offensive cpu player does a spin move and egts by you for the easy dunk.
