Can't tell you and anyone else interested in this enough to wait, wait, wait. No demo, no reviews yet from any reliable source, am I still the only one that sees the red flags in this?

With Crysis 2 coming out next week, and knowing most of you guys aren't the Twigg type who buys most every game regardless, don't rush out and buy this until you see a few reviews first...
 
They have been promoting the hell out of this game in TV ads and such but there is literally no reviews for it outside of some 3rd party sites.

Hey, leave me out of this! LOL.

I totally agree though. This reeks of a bad game. Like Leaf said, they are marketing the shit out of it yet there isn't a demo? No reviews? If they knew they had a winner on their hands they would want to ge the game to as many people, media or otherwise, as soon as possible.

I have a feeling this game will be a solid 6, 7 at best. Does anyone remember Frontlines:Fuel of War? That was theast game this company made and it was the definition of mediocre.
 
And not to long after my post I may have changed my mind.

Apparently there is a Best Buy coupon that gives you 10% off any game. So that would bring it down to $54. Plus they are giving you a pretty sweet headset with a pre-order and a $10 gift car when you buy the game. Plus you can get $20 off another game. Bulletstorm maybe? Or maybe it was $20 off another game with the purchase of Crysis. Damn you CAG!

I figure I can always keep it sealed until I read reviews. If the reviews are terrible I'll just return it.

Ok, so what does the 10,000 SYWR at Kmart equal to? $20? If so Kmart seems like the better deal. Then, like Buzz said, you can turn around the next week and use that $20 on Crysis and still get another great deal on a $50 PSN or 4000 pt MS card. Hmmm.

So what version are you getting Buzz? I was thinking 360 because I don't think any of my other friends are going to be getting it and they all play PS3.
 
I'm getting 360 because Micro$oft put money towards THQ to give them exclusive shit as they always seem to do. I think they did the same for Crysis 2, but I'm not positive.

Then yea, Ima swing that $10 towards Crysis 2.

SO for a total of $130 I can get Homefront, Crysis 2, and 5,600 Microsoft points. That is a wicked good deal.
 
360 version of Homefront is rumored to have an exclusive multiplayer map, "Suburbs". It will have 8 maps, as opposed to the PC and PS3's 7.
