Tiger Woods 10 Impressions

This is just from the demo impressions.

As I noted in the interest thread, there is just something about this game that doesn't scream "I MUST OWN!" I played the demo, and I just found myself bored more then excited. Maybe it is from playing fast pace hockey for the last 7-8 months, but this game just doesn't have that long term value I like in my games. I can't see myself sitting down for a couple of hours and hammering out tournaments or playing the single player much.

I don't mind the putting thing, it is just, there is nothing new. I played the demo for last years game and there was just no difference between that and this game. Not much you can do with golf I guess to make it more real, because it is still just, shoot, walk to ball, shoot, walk to ball.
 
That is the only thing that kind of makes me ok with buying the game, because I never bought 09, and haven't ever got a Tiger Woods game. So it is like a new game all the way for me.

I don't know, I may just buy it for something to hold me over till NHL10 comes out, as I do love my golf during the summer months.
 
I might just buy Tiger 09 then since the price will drop dramatically with this game's release. I don't really need an updated version to get my video game golfing fix.
 
I got this game for the 360 before I went to work. Will probably play a round (or two) when I get home at midnight.
 
Here is a question for you. I am on the fence as to buy it. Actually probably say I am leaning towards getting it, but kind of need that little extra push. Just from what you have played, do you see the game having a good value for the money? Does it feel like a game that will last one season of this league and that is all?

I'm sure we can, but that should be cool considering we will progress throughout the season.
 
well, i took a freshly created guy and dove right into a PGA season.

I'm +14 after two rounds on Tour PRO.

Most of the damage came from a few 3 putts, just can't get that shit down sometimes.

Solid hard difficulty, I'm gonna enjoy getting better at this.
 
I'd like to hear how everyone is doing a week from now with the scores. If we're still hovering around 69+ I'll probably pick this up.

Yeah. Disables all that powerup/spin shit you can do.



I assume we'll be creating fresh guys for this? Some guys could have jacked golfers by playing throughout the week offline?
