There was another game that had mechs recently, and it completely ruined the gameplay imo: Halo 4.

Nothing that I've seen so far makes me want to buy this.

Those mechs were very weak and easy to take out though, and were only on the 6-8 man team game types.

They might have but I'm pretty sure they took it out at some point. They were more of a pain in the ass than anything, the rockets weren't that powerful and you had to shoot a ton of bullets from it's gun to even get a kill. I hope they do a good job with 5 though :domestic:.

How exactly am I belittling it? All I've said that it doesn't look like anything special and isn't bringing anything new to the table and agreed with Beer.

I actually defended it against one statement talking about how horrendous the AI looked.

I was hoping that all the pre release hype would come to fruition but these videos have proved otherwise to this point.

And I haven't been "against" anything. I've just never bought into the ridiculous amount of hype this game has had. I've said from the beginning that it looked like CoD with mechs and didn't look game breaking at all. These videos of that alpha haven't changed my mind.

But I guess if I'm not slobbing all over the game like you are I'm "against it"?

Just killed two titans with the same anti-titan blast. The vertical aspect of this game is unlike any other. They weren't lying when they said the pilots and titans would be balanced. A lot of advantages and disadvantages for both.

Who the fuck cares what they AI is doing though, they will be replaced with other players online lol. You can tell that kid is really good at the game when he shoots at his own teammate for like 10 seconds before realizing it :lol:. The game looks interesting so far from the videos to say the least.
