I had to kill 2-3 mfers last nite. Those Special Op Ninja dudes. Couple of silenced headshots and I was in the clear. I have been using my stun gun most of the time. I wish you could upgrade it though.

Upgrade to the crossbow. So much better.

It's definitely in my top 3 of the year right now.

Story wise, Conviction was cool in that everything hit the fan. But the whole stealth aspect kind of went out the window for that game. So I wouldn't be too sad.

For me, yes. One of the better looking games on consoles graphics wise, story that keeps you attached (it's not TLoU, but it does its job), voice acting is well done, the gameplay is great. If you like stealth gameplay, then this game wont let you down.

I am loving as well Seth...grafx are insane on PC. Stealth is great so far. Just a really solid game overall. I started conviction and will go back and play that when I am dont with this.

it does have that trial and error style of play but usually when you fail a few times it is for 1) you rushed it or 2) you should look for another path. I really like the 1 hour missions, its a perfect length.

It is just so tense...I can tell cause when I exit to desktop I let out a big sigh. I like it better than the LOU. Gameplay is much more diverse and you can approach situations any way you want. The LOU guides you along more...I like more freedom.

Beat the single player campaign tonight. God dammit I loved it. Such a well done game. Fans of stealth gameplay will finish feeling pretty damn satisfied. I know a lot of people were skeptical about Michael Ironside not voicing Sam Fisher this time around, but I was a big fan of the new guy. He definitely did the job right. Really all of the voice acting was pretty good. Graphics whores wont be disappointed either. That was definitely one of the best looking games I've played on this console generation. The variety of ways and paths to accomplish your mission was a very nice touch. I'm just so glad that they brought the series back to where it needs to be. This is absolutely the best Splinter Cell game since Chaos Theory on last-gen consoles.

Now I can actually say that this game is in my top 3 games of 2013 right now.

 

I'm hoping they continue the storyline for the hidden antagonists. Obviously we stopped Sadiq, but I'd like to dig further into it. Did anyone else get a weird vibe from Vic at the ending cutscenes or am I just crazy?

Ubisoft is knocking these Tom Clancy games out of the park recently with this game and Ghost Recon Future Soldier both being great games. They are exactly what I want out of Tom Clancy games. Hopefully that continues into The Division and Rainbow Six.

I just finished the Headquarters SP mission and it was a bit of a pain. Some people had to die.

Kind of underwhelmed actually. Especially with the hand to hand combat. Seems like Sam does the same three moves every time.
