I have a feeling my only claim to fame in this game will be that Icarus challenge.

I thought I read/heard that this game had a NFS auto-log type feature? I didn't see anything like that.

That is a damn good score!

I LOVE Giga Track. I just did a 11:03.518 with 12 restarts. I think it is the most beautiful track in the game.

That fucking skiing stunt challenge can blow me. The physics seemed so fucked at time with this game. Sometimes I'll nose dive like a mfer and land fine and other times it looks like I stick the landing perfectly and I crash.

Finally passed my first EXTREME track.....problem is I did it online with Garrett and it doesnt carry over to the career.

None the less it challenging, frustrating, fun, and addicting all in one.

Way of the Ninja is our current thorn in Garrett's and my side. Course is brutal!

My problem is I have been playing a race over and over until I get the gold medal and I am going to start just going through it and then I will go back and try and get the golds. I'm only on the intermediate tracks right now and have yet tot ry it online

Terminator 2 was making me mad because of the camera angles.


I finished EF Stepping Stones but it took 200+ faults I think

As I expected this game already starts to get annoying on Medium. I'm not sure how I will ever get anything better than a silver on any Medium track. Who was it that said this game is "more forgiving" than the first one? Because it seems exactly the same to me.

The game is as hard as you want it to be. If you want to get gold on all the tracks then the game can be VERY frustrating. I think golding some of the medium tracks are not that hard....just a little time consuming. You dont need to do it though. Once you get to hard and extreme you just work on getting through the course. You need to get the TRIALS bike though to make it easier.

You can also watch really really good players through replays to see some moves you may not know exist.

I tried that with the first game and could never seem to duplicate the moves. Some players are just insane.

What about the bike parts? I've had to tinker with any of that stuff. Does it really matter? I usally shy away from customization options in racing games and such because I don't know the slightest thing about cars, dirtbikes, whatever. I know the customization in this game is pretty bare bones but I'm still leary about it.

Bike parts it is strictly cosmetic....thats it. It helps to paint and customize if you plan to do supercross online...you could lose sight of your biker otherwise.

You could just be bad at the game like our friend Garrett....but for some reason he cant put it down....that is the craziness of this game.

Well that is disappointing.

I seem to be ok at the stunt challenges. The only one I don't have gold in so far is the UFO. That thing is somehow more finnicky than the fucking bikes.

That's funny because I struggle at those skill challenges. If I were you would download some user tracks and what not. There are some really creative and addicting tracks out there......you can check the difficulty before downloading.

What is fun is you can do play the downloaded tracks with a friend after in a private game. Garrett and I have wasted too much time doing some hard but fun user tracks.
