Dana is going to bitch out Rogan for mentioning so many fighters outside of his own organization tonite... I counted like 6-7 mentions of top fighters outside of the UFC and very little of ones inside the UFC, hah.

Sancez/Guida was a war and pretty much all you can ask for out of a fight. Guida has one of the best chins ive ever seen.. ever.

I had a feeling that Stevenson/Nate fight would go the way it did. A desperate Joe Daddy just used his strength to overpower Nate for the majority of the fight.

Kevin Burns cut in the Lytle/Burns fight was fucking nasty. Highly entertaining fight tho, as all Lytle fights are.

All in all a pretty solid nite of fights. Really looking forward to seeing Diego vs BJ or Ken-Flo.

I still can't believe that high kick in the first didn't knock Guida out cold. Especially after the beating he'd taken before that

Diego's stand up is still stiff, it looked a lot better because he was agressive like his old style of grappling, but I think it looked better because Guida doesnt have a great stand up game, Guida is a just a caveman and was actaully getting in some good shots even in the 3rd which was surprising

MMA scoring is still so weak, in a 3 round fight there needs to be moe 10-8 and 10-10 rounds and draws rewarded

Yeah, I was kinda thinking that, too. I think they only that may have saved Guida from a 10-8 in the first round was the early exchange.

Half points would work , if there was a d draw I see no problem with "sudden victory" and just go one more round.

Draws have no business in sports let alone combat sports.



Great night of fights. I love watching Diaz the shit he got out of is crazy. Dont see him elevating his game like his brother anytime soon. He needs to put on a little weight and strike more. Cant just be the rubber band noone can tie up. Either way love watching those guys fight.


Diaz/Guida put on a show. Best fight Ive seen in awhile , them going balls to the wall right after the bell was reminiscent of Don Frye vs Blonde Korean dude.

Something about Diego Sanchez has always bothered me. He tries to come across as so intense, but it always feels forced. I can't quite define why, but its just doesn't feel real with him, the way it does with so many other fighters. He obviously brings it in the cage, but the walking to the ring, staredown, all of that...

10-8 rounds seem to never be given, Diego should have gotten 1 in the first round, there are 10-8 rounds in place, but never get used, guys are grabbing fences and never get a point taken off besides Tito, lol, there can be 10-10 rounds easily where no one does nothing besides walking around flicking jabs at each other and never landing

I agree Rob, Sanchez won that fight. Trowbridge gave the fight a 29-27 which is still a bit weird to me. See below for my interpretation of the score:

If you think Guida won the third, then how can you say you think Diego won? If you give Diego a 10-8, and Guida the next two, that's a draw.
