I have been playing so many games lately. I finsally started Bastion and that game seems awesome. There is on thing I'm confused about tjough. I've died a few times because I'm stingy with my health potions (not sure why as they seem to be fairly plentiful) and wait a split second too late to use them. It now say that I have "One try left". Does that mean if I die one more time I have to restart the entire game?

I've also been playing Halo: Anniversary with my boy Swarley. That game is a lot of fun in co-op, especially cheevo hunting. The controls leave much to be desired though. Remember whan Halo was praised for it;s amazing console controls when it debuted? Remember falling in love with those controls? Rose colored glasses. They just don't hold up against the likes of the Battlefileds and CoD's of today. They seem "wonky" and way too loose, even way you tone the sensitivity all the way down. The game itself is also pretty boring. The graphics look really good though. Switching between the old graphics and new is a hoot. I never get tired of Swarley starting to chuckle and me asking why, with his response being "I just switched to the old graphics. This level looks booty." LOL. The game is still fun but nowhere near as "exciting" as it once was. I'm still looking forward to the Halo 2 remake though. Oh, by the way. Fuck the Flood.

Super Mario 3D Land is fucking awesome and is definitely a great reason to buy a 3DS. It is just :jhenbeatkwon: and I couldn't put it down until I 100%'d it.

Gears 3 Horde mode is still a blast.

Earth Defense Force 2 is a ton of fun. Great co-op game. I can't wait to get back into it with my cousin and Ryne.

I also fired up the Wii for the first time in months and got back into DKCR. That game is so good but so damn frustrating. As I get further (World 5 now) it just gets tougher and tougher. It's like an old school NES/SNES platformer where you die numerous times trying to figure out the ebb and flow of a level. It's a great game though and very fun finding the secrets in each level.

On a side note, screw these Konami HD collections. How do you have a MGS or Silent Hill collection and not include the first games in the series? So dumb.

Swarley and I only have two more cheevos in Halo that should only take an hour to complete. Hopefully we can bang that out when I get home from work today. So, later tonight I should be able to play Ghostbusters.

Doesn't look like 343 will be remaking Halo 2. The most that gamers got were some of the maps redone for the multiplayer.

I can understand why 343 wouldn't remake it, being as they are starting a new trilogy now. But you'd think that Microsoft would maybe get one of their other studies to help out with a Halo 2 remake. Most people I talk to say that one was their favorite Halo game. And personally, I'd pick it up b/c that's the only Halo campaign I haven't played through.

I keep waiting for a damn sale. I figured since they renamed it to Iron Brigade Double Fine would push for a "Reborn Sale" or something. Ha.

Yeah, I think most Halo fans will say that 2 is their favorite. But MS might want to skip it because I don't think they can use the same lame excuse they used with Halo 1 to not have full multiplayer with Halo 2.

I can't wait to 100% Jak and Daxter. I think I 100% each individual game (maybe not the 1st, can't quite remember), and that was for very little reward (cheats and concept art basically, IIRC). So here we go again with a reason to do it this time!

I can't click the link but the long URL says the Jak HD collection has 100 trophies. Are they separated for each game like Sly? Three Separate plats?

I also see that it says a 02/07 release date?!?

They better have inverted controls! For some reason I remember the first game turning me off because I couldn't invert the camera.
