I can't seem to get enough of the HR derby mode on The Show for Vita. I think I have all of the derby and stadium specific trophies except for hitting a HR 490ft. I've hit 487 multiple times but can't hit 490. Argh! I've used every slugger in the game and even have played in Coors Field as suggested over at ps3trophies.org.

I tried pre-ordering the ultimate edition of Borderlands 2 at Best Buy today. The kiosk printed out the receipt and I thought I was good to go. Go to customer service and it won't scan. It's because they aren't selling them. Damn you 2K. Give us more of these so I can give you my damn money!

After seeing JMS's posts about NFS: The Run I decided to pop my copy in. I hadn't played it in forever and I wasn't very far into the story mode so I just started over.

I finally said fuck it and used the player editor to max out Prince Fielders stats. It still took a few tries but I finally got it.

The trophy should've just been for 480ft. Having to basically cheat to get it is dumb.

Not true at all. I buy whatever version is supposed to be the best. Which is why when you said you only buy exclusives on PS3 Swarley laughed at you. If you have both consoles why wouldn't you buy the better version? Not only is the PS3 version of The Run the lead version, it looks better AND came with exclusive content. It came with the Bugatti Special and six additional events, plus some extra super cars.

I actually do research on any multiplatform game before I buy it. I was dead set on getting KoA this week for 360 until I checked a bunch of coparison sites and found out that the PS3 edges it out slightly in graphics and technical issues.

Noe if a game is single player only and there are really no discernible differences, I will usually go with the PS3 version unless the 360 version is cheaper (which does happen occassionally). Because trophies>cheevos. I prefer the format and how they are separated into tiers. I'm nored of the plain ol' points system.

So, I ask again, why would you get the 360 version?

Not really sure....I know I like the 360 controller better. I dont research xbox vs ps3.....the are mostly the same. (excluding Skyrim)

Oh, and apparently you forgot our late night Driver: SF session with Garrett. What version of the game were we playing? Hmmmmm.

Those were only a few examples. There have been tons over the past year. I believe SSX on 360 is supposed to get Mt. Fuji in August but they have been saying that forever and by then will anyone care? Plus they will probably charge. An entire extra mountain in a game like that is a big deal.

As for some extra cars in a racing game? Not that big a deal but it is a lot cooler than say, an extra gun in a shooter. But having extra actual events to compete in, especially with Auto Log, is a nice bonus.

That's one of the only times Ive ever chosen the PS3 version over the 360 version

I have a real answer to this....community. l have 100 friends on Live of which almost every nite there are 20-25 online. I like to see what they are playing cause maybe I will join them. Also being in an active ncaa online dynasty on the xbox it helps to be on live more for communication. The party chat is used alot. I dont have as many friends on ps3. When i go on there are usually 3-4 people on. I honestly dont know about better versions, or premo content.....it doesnt seem that important. If one version was severly broken, i am sure i would read about it.

My 360 friends list consist of mostly Forza racers and Tradition Sports people from xbox online dynasties.

I am done discussing this with you....I buy 360 games because I am ugly, dumb, gay, slow, retarded and most of all a big huge maricon. Case closed.

Well, I'm obviously not saying that. But the reasoning you're giving me would just tell me that of course you would buy Forza (obviously) and NCAA for Xbox because of the strong communities you're a part of with those games. It's the same with me and Battlefield. Even though I have the game for both the PS3 community is so much stronger on my friends list so I will always buy games like that on PS3 first and maybe only at all.

But with a game like The Run, I know it was a while ago, but I posted that I bought it on PS3. At least then you would have ONE friend to compete with.
