I went with middle linebacker because, more often than not, that is the captain of your defense. Most defenses use either their MLB or a safety as the guy who is mic'ed for their DC.

As for Willis, the dude can do it all. Cover tight ends and running backs, stop the run and he's worked on his pass-rushing skills. He quite simply can do just about everything, and neutralize match ups that are head aches for most teams.

This is not a knock on Willis, but go back and watch some of the Ravens runs last Thursday and tell me how much of a game changer he was when he was getting pancaked by Grubbs and Yanda because his DL couldn't control the LoS.

Remember, there was talk about Ray Lewis being on the downside of his career back in 04/05. Who remembers the 2004 MNF game against KC where KCs OL blocked him out of the stadium? The Ravens got Haloti Ngata in 2006 and he's been a stud again ever since. In fact, his best years were when he had Tony Siragusa and Sam Adams in front of him eating blocks.

Running back? I don't care if it's Adrian Peterson, you can't say that's a position you should start your franchise with. Having a great running back is a luxury, but having a great quarterback is a necessity.
