exactly, if Mir wins that wouldnt be that great for the UFC, if Brock wins they could set up so many fights and even a Brock/Mir III and have then both coach TUF

Fair enough.. but atleast with Quinton he had many years of professional fighting under his belt before "coaching". I know its probably a mull point to casual fans, but having a guy whos fought only a handful is times really kills all legitimacy of having "coaches" at all.

Rampage is a bad coach, he never taught in his life and lacks motivation, the whole 'coach' think on TUF is fake anyway for the most part

I broke it down on another thread, but there was only a couple fighters that that actaully are good coaches

Brock would probably be a better coach than Jackson anyway, years and years of wrestling and he could be a good motivator and has a strong work ethic

lol @ rampage being a good coach, oh man, the wonders of TV

rampage doesnt have coaching skills, he has always trained under someone and has problems being motaviated and training hard

the best coaches the show has had have been Randy, Hughes, Dan and Tito, these guys actually run gyms, train people or have fight camps

BJ is also a very good coach regarding technique, but his problem is living in Hawaii and enjoying the good life, but as far as knowledge, BJ is right up there with the best and he knows how to teach

Also, Ken was a really good coach in his time, he looked like a clown on the show but ken knows who to sell on TV, the game has pasted him and he never evolved, but when he was coaching the Lions Den they were 1 of the best teams in MMA with Frank, Guy Metzger, Jerry and Mikey Burnett, the Lions Dens tryouts were famous

Matt Serra has been running a gym for years and produced some quality guys, he of course focusing more on BJJ and the ground game, but coming from Renzo and teaching for all these years menas something

I dont think Rich has ever coached either and Chuck isnt a coach type of guy

Randy with xtreme couture, Hughes runs the hitsquad and has all the MFS background are probably the best, Dan does well with his team along side with Matt Linland even after they broke off from Randy

The best: Randy, Dan, Hughes and maybe Tito

In the middle: BJ and Ken, both have there faults

The worst: Rampage and Chuck, Rich also might be down there, he usually just jumps from camp to camp to just train, Im sure a guy like him would run a team in the future though

oh, also forgot about Jens, he is down with the MFS style and is a good coach and motivater

I also forgot Nog, him and his bro run a great gym

I cant remember all the coaches because I rarely watch the show

i think belcher is a good first opponent for akiyama. hes coming off a very impressive victory over kang. akiyama is the ufc's ticket into the korean market so it makes sense they put him on a huge card like this.

I dont think Brock will go for a takedown until later in the 1st round, he probably thinks he can just throw his jab/cross combo and KO Mir, he doesnt want to bring Mir down to early and get subbed again, Mir has a better chance early for a sub with the lack of sweat

I think Mir subs him later with a rolling kneebar from the turtle position

So your saying that when Akiyama comes out to opera music the guys in hooters wont go nuts for the japanese guy in pajama's they never seen?
