Florian/Maynard should be an awesome fight to see if Maynard can lay on Florian for three rounds. I say no fucking way and watch Florian knock that fucker out.

As far as my pick goes, even a blind squirrel finds a nut, it was a razor close fight the first time and it'll likely be just as close the 2nd time around.

I'm still not convinced that Penn's cardio is as good as everyone claims it is all of a sudden. He looked gassed in the last couple rounds against Edgar, and completely shot against GSP, although that's a different situation I'll admit. But still, if Penn can't finish Edgar I think he'll drop another close decision from losing steam late in the fight.

Lights Out vs Couture. Why all the hate for James Toney? I don't get it. The boxing vs MMA shtick is just BS marketing. It's MMA vs MMA, wrestler vs striker, which we've seen many times before. The only difference now is that we have not seen a striker who's on the same level as James Toney. I hope he wins so he continues to fight in MMA. No one can honestly say that they wouldn't be interested in seeing a boxer of that level compete in MMA long term, so stop hatin.

Agreed. His trainer made a comment about how Couture would get killed in a boxing ring. They aren't doing much to jump into the melting pot of combat sports.

Noons is definitely a great MMA boxer, one of the few guys in the sport who knows how to attack the body effectively and consistently. Clean, accurate puncher overall, but I do think he leaves himself open more often than he has to. Even Gurgel landed some nice power shots against him and of course Krazy Horse was able to knock him out. The fundamentals are there, as far as that goes he has to be one of the best, I just think he lacks the natural athleticism as a BJ Penn or Anderson Silva.

I think KJ is a really good athlete, very quick, picked up the sprawl and scramble game, he is quicker than Penn at this point

I think he leaves himself open because he is drawing guys in and knows he can out strike them, I think its a tactic at this point, he stays in the pocket and uses head movement, shoulder rolling, etc...
