Screwed is far from what's happening. Edgar/Maynard is hot right now and they need to ride it.

Pettis isn't doing big business, regardless of the awesome kick. Give him someone to fight and if he can't win, he shouldn't be in the title picture anyway.
 
Stun Gun vs. Diaz was my favorite fight of the event. DHK is just sooo good at grappling, and Diaz still has shit wrestling, but I loved how active his guard was and pretty much forced Kim to react the entire time on while he was on top.

There needs to be more BJJ guys at 170 for sure. That whole division in general is dominated by wrestlers.

So lets ignore Pettis' need to make a livelihood for god knows how many more months? Yeah, thats not getting screwed at all. Instead he'll be forced to take another fight, likely against Jim Miller (who is a poor match-up for him) and his likely once in a life time chance will be shot. Yeah, thats not difficult for him at all..

I'm not dense enough to believe that things are set in stone. Edgar just got done fighting to a draw in one of the best fights of the past year. Damn straight I think they should settle that first before bringing in the WEC champ.

Shit happens...robs favorite thing in the world a *draw* occurred. With no "one more round" sudden victory possible a rematch of that fantastic fight is a no brainer.
It wasn't a close decision ....it was a draw. Hurricane Kick Harry will have to wait.
