Hell yeah Shogun...Carwin's promos were probably the best of any countdown special in a long ass time.

I guess the tickets are not selling well, or maybe it's the tickets the scalpers bough

I don't think the UFC has a start at HW besides Brock, have to see hower cains return fight does, mir might be there there next biggest draw at HW

I think it would have been a bit different had Brock been able to fight.

But you're not saying anything wrong here either. Lesnar is a proven draw. Nobody else is. We have to wait to be able to say whether Cain is or isn't. They tried to get JDS over on TUF, but that doesn't matter these days.

They have a few great fighters and more solid to good fighters, but they definitely have to be worried if Brock's career only lasts another year or two.

I don't know whether to pick between Nunes or KenFlo. I really like KenFlo, but I look at Joachim Hansen and how he struggled during his first couple runs at FW and can't help but think that Florian will be similar shape as well.

Mir is no draw by himself. The show headlined by Mir/Cro Cop did under 300k.

Unless you expected the show to pull at least 350k, it's a solid number. The show had no serious main event and drew singlehandedly based on Rampage alone. For fucking terrible, I would've had to see a sub-300 number.

UFC 130 - Rampage vs. Hamill apparently did low 300,000s

UFC 123 - Rampage vs. Machida & Penn vs. Hughes did 500,000 (Penn/Hughes definitely count for something)

UFC 96 - Rampage vs. Jardine did 350,000 (2009...another show based soley on Rampage)

None of the three guys on 129 have ever been good PPV draws. Jones, in fact, hasnt been a good draw at all, either on PPV or TV. Faber is a ratings draw, but he did, what, 200k when he headlined a PPV?

I dont understand how comparing Rampage/Hamill to another show that did shitty makes the 300k look any better. 300k is a terrible number for UFC in 2001 regardless of what is on the show. It is what it is, frankly the reasons are irrelevent, the shit flatlined, its embarrasing. Rich Franklin on tape delay from Europe laughs at this show.

Given 125 and 127 did shittier numbers, I'd be satisfied with 300k.

Obviously, saying Rampage is slightly better than Edgar/Maynard/Fitch isn't the best thing in the world, but given there was absolutely no buzz for the Hamill fight, it is what it is.

What do you expect for 131? I'm not thinking too high, perhaps topping out at 400k.
