[PS3] Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

We have the worst timing, when you invited me I was just about to beat Batman and get off. Maybe next time.

Just shoot out a time that's best for you and then one of us will work our way around it.

Most of the time, I'm messing around before I start playing the game online anyway; downloading movies, alternating discs with UC1, etc.

i am really cruising thru the game now. im at 18 or 19 now. The game really picked up. I guess my expectations were not on par with this game. saying that it plays out like a movie is accurate in many ways. But the slow start is typical of a movie and thats pretty much how this game is as well.

the visuals in this game are the best i have ever seen. I dont think anyone could argue that. the story and acting is all excellent. Probably the best story i have ever experienced. The action is intense but also has a balance of relaxed action areas too.

my only complaints is the lack of any real decision making when moving thru the worlds. And the platforming stuff can be not so user friendly at times. Also, what was with the guy on the train that i shot 9 million times and he still didnt die....most of the enemies take alot of bullets, but thats not any different then any other shooter

i wish they had a cinema or somthing so i could re watch all videos. i miss some of what they are talking about from time to time.

my 2 favorite levels are the one with the reflecting mirrors and the one where your with that eskimo looking dude in that giant tomb or whatever it is. Both of these were platforming levels and allowed your to figure out how to do stuff. Visually they were amazing too

i dont know that i would score this a 9.5.....but i also cant argue against that score. The game is about as epic as it gets

Just started playing this after I finished R&C. The beginning sucked me in, already seems much more interesting than the first.

finished up last night. I rushed thru the last 3 chapters so i could get it done. But i still got the gist of the story.

shambala was an incredible looking level.

i would enjoy a second play thru on this game. But 2 things that really started to frustrate me towards the end of the game....1 the platforming controls. I loved the platforming sections, but i hated the clunkyness. alot of it worked smoothly, but there were times that some polish on these controls would have made the platforming alot more enjoyable....i found myself frustrated thru many of these sections.

the 2nd thing is the player movement. for such a great looking game they really needed to improve the way drake moves around. Very nfl2k5 ish imo....not a big deal, but with a little more polish, this would make the gameplay more enjoyable.

there are million great things to say about this game, but if you played u know the game is great.....improve the controls and add a tiny bit of varety to the path you take in each level and the game is perfect

I'll take UC2's clunkiness over UC1's clunkiness any day.

For real though, I'm glad you enjoyed the game Maynard and are willing to go through another playthough... Crushing Mode is definitely an experience. :chomp:

I will warn you that if decide to take your game online, prepare to be called a lot of nasty names in many different languages.

Depending if you're a whore for PS3 Trophies, this game is tailor-made for multiple playthroughs.

Hidden treasures, rewards for blowing up 5 enemies at once... the list goes on and on.

The best two? Getting one for playing one online game and another for winning an online game.

My favorite trophies? The online-only ones that come with games that no one plays anymore.

GTA IV being a prime culprit.

Luckily, I can still wait 10 minutes to play the other 6000+ people playing this one online.

I always play the 1st run on easy cause I want to enjoy the story, then I play it a 2nd time on hardest difficulty.

In regards to this, that was the whole point. Nate is supposed to be a regular dude. That's why when he runs he sometimes trips and when he grabs a ledge sometimes he loses his grip. It's not like most games where your super human character makes ever jump perfectly and never once stumbles.

I completely agree. There was a time in one of those secret tombs where I wanted to smash my controller because Ezio wasn't doing anything I wanted him to do. And it was one of those situations where if you missed one jump you had to start the entire sequence over.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan is putting Uncharted and Uncharted 2 back on the market in a gold slipcase. The classy looking Uncharted 2 Twin Pack will retail for 7,980 yen ($8 when it arrives in Japan on February 18.

The announcement came with more Uncharted 2 news, a new schedule of DLC. Here’s what Uncharted 2 fans can look forward to.

- Multiplayer Skins from Resistance 2, Infamous, and Killzone 2 characters

Considering that no one plays anything but Deathmatch anymore, they better hope that DLC comes to the States.

I've been meaning to use Gabriel Roman as my main Villain Skin...

and maybe now we'll all get to experience the greatness that is Navarro.

yea I played the random playlsit for a while now and mostly its TD. But since im sweet I dont mind, but plundering is my favorite.
