Lets hope not. Hulks appeal IMO came inspite of previous movies not because of it. As with his comic hes only interesting when hes pissed off somewhat self aware and beating up good guys and bad guys. Every movie is a weak bruce banner vehicle that is forgettable. No reason he cant just make a cameo in I.M 3 steal a scene and keep that awesomeness going.
 
Ant-man cant even carry being the lead in a comicbook, Lead in a movie?...might be a tough sell

Id rather see a Heroes for Hire movie...

Ant Man and Guardians of the Galaxy don't have to be the big budget blow em ups that Avengers/Iron Man. I'm happy thinking they will go the more 'indie' comic hero route that's been walked my movies like Hellboy. I don't think every movie has to be based on a character that sells thousands of books every month. If the guy has a good story, and is put in the hands of a good director who is passionate about the story (ala Ant Man and Edgar Wright), I think the movie will do fine

Guardians of the Galaxy, if it wasn't Marvel, I'd probably still be intrigued by a group of guys who number a talking racoon and tree among their posse.
 
Hank Pym/Ant-Man/Goliath/Yellowjacket is one of the most important characters in the Marvel Universe. Besides being an original Avenger, he created Ultron, who in turn created the Vision.

Two movies I want are Luke Cage and Hulk 3.

The Fraction/Brubaker run on Iron Fist is one of my favorites in comics. I'd love to see him get his own flick. It's basically just a martial arts movie set in the Marvel universe
 
I'm praying the rights to Daredevil revert back to Marvel Studios and we get a well written Daredevil movie. One of my favorite characters.

Love the Punisher enough it was my halloween costume last year. Thought this was badass. Hated the sequel , really liked Thomas Janes portayal hope it creates a Travolta free movie.
 
The Marvel series has had some hits and some misses...but I'm really intrigued to see how they put together this entire catalog of films...this kind of endeavor has never even been tried...

The first payoff was done very well...Iron Man and Hulk were good flicks...Avengers was rather epic. The rest were...ehh. Now, with round 2, Iron Man 3 is sounding good, and they have an entire other round up...they are cash cows, so, it'll be intriguing to see if they are made well.
 
I think now that we're done with origin stories for the most part, you're going to start seeing some really good things from Captain America and Thor.
 
Isn't DC supposed to start doing some new movies??? I would LOVE to see a new Superman and Perhaps the Flash would be really. The Greenlatern was ok.

The Man of Steel comes out next year. Should be good. Flash has been in development hell for the better part of a decade.

DC is apparently looking to do a Justice League movie but they are likely not going to take the same route Marvel did with leading up to it via other movies. It will likely be a standalone movie

Also, The Rock is rumored to be playing Lobo in a Lobo movie :puke:
 
You guys need to recognize the awesomeness of Edgar Wright being the one doing Ant-Man. I already have faith the movie is not going to take itself too seriously and will have the trademark snappy editing, which fits pretty perfectly for a superhero setting. I have pretty high expectations for this without taking any consideration into the supposed weakness of the character.

This is why I think it would be better to start a trilogy of movies simply called "Henry Pym" and not "Ant-Man. That would make it easier to weave in and out of all of his alter-egos.

Luke Cage could be nice, maybe a bit tricky to pull off. Power Man and Iron Fist better?

And it seems I'm still one of very few people on Earth that actually likes the Daredevil movie we got. Sigh.
