When Jacobs got hurt Darren Sharper actually made that tackle. I am one to assume that you are too blind to even see the holes. Defending or not the shield's evidence has way too many holes. Why would these guys fight this hard if they know they are truly guilty. These confessions and apologies were all written by the league. Not by the "guilty" party. When I look at the evidence, I don't see "glaring holes". I see a tally sheet (with $10k next to Vilma's name) for the Vikings game alluding to going after Favre, I see Dog the BOUNTY HUNTER images used in conjunction with language that strongly suggests bounty payments, I heard Gregg Williams offer money on tape to go after a player with previous knee injuries and Alex Smith's head.

Maybe I don't see these "glaring holes" because i'm not looking through Saints colored glasses. Homer gonna homer.

Because the NFLPA's stance is shit. The spin the NFLPA has put on some of this stuff has come off comical, in fact.

Empire was right. There could be video tape evidence of Gregg Williams handing a player stacks of cash while saying "THANKS FOR THE CHEAP SHOT ON FAVRE!", and KNUBB would still say "there is no evidence".

I'm glad you brought this up. I found it odd that this was part of the "evidence" handed to the NFLPA last Friday considering it wasn't released until after initial sentencing had been handed down. This isn't the only piece of "evidence" that was handed to the players that happened after the suspensions were handed out. Considering the appeals were suppose to appeal what Goodell had in his possession whilst he made his rulings. The speech though brings me to a word that I used in my last post. Hyperbole. The use of the word "Kill" makes it safe to assume that this is the same kill that Vilma was awarded for 60+ times in 2010. Like I said if Vilma single handedly(not a KNUBB joke) injured 60 people in a season don't you believe a red flag would have been raised long before now. I am in no way trying to sway anyone's opinion(since i knew long ago there was no swaying) but I do enjoy the discussion.

Now let's get onto the handwritten notes which were then transcribed. Why would these notes need to be transcribed? We have photo scanners and the technology to easily copy the actual document. Why was it transcribed? How come we don't know who wrote these letters? And the apparent ledger. Where is it? Who wrote that? If you have the hard evidence why hold onto it? Are these questions not fair questions to ask about the "evidence". This is where you guys seem to miss the point about my defending. When you ask these questions and can't seem to find the answer that means there is something more going on here.

Justify the unprecedented suspensions? A coach has never been suspended before. This isn't the 1st pay for performance program that has been caught. Not one but several coaches are suspended. The punishment doesn't fit the crime if it is just another pay for performance program

I recall the interview. If the "evidence" is so overwhelming then answer the questions I posed a few questions ago. I mean if there is so much of it and it is all true. The saints players accepted money, which is against the rules to begin with, in order to injure others. That is extremely unethical. If you get caught accepting money to do something unethical in any other profession you're fired on the spot. These players should have been banned for life as far as I'm concerned.

You should care. Precedents are a staple when making rulings on this for a reason. It sets a sort of standard for this type of punishment. The in order to injure someone is what is still in question. If you aren't questioning it then you are gullible and naive. That is like going to the strip club and thinking the strippers really like you. Believing every word one side of the story makes while completely disregarding the other side. You can't make a full opinion on a matter without taking into account both sides of the fence.
