While the players are being very outspoken and possibly causing a stir in the opinions of the same reporters who attacked them. This is nothing to take note of am I getting this right? That's weird. I thought that Saints homers were the only ones finding the holes. Schefter isn't the only one. He might be more notable since he is affiliated with the largest sports media outlet who spent quite a bit of time reacting to "news" instead of fact checking(OTL Report that disappeared rather quickly). The national reporters who throughout most of this haven't really bothered with journalistic integrity as long as their story gets printed. It's been quite a shit show overall and it doesn't all fall on the Saints and it's players.

Which is exactly why it's completely absurd to think the NFL would glorify and fabricate a bounty story that only makes the NFL look barbaric, especially in light of the current issues that the league faces concerning head injuries and the like.

Glorifying big hits. Gotta look down on that. Especially with all the mounting lawsuits facing the NFL. Something I may have mentioned before in one of the other 10 or so "bounty" related threads. A pay for performance scheme(Which we all agree is illegal to begin with) has been morphed into something more damning to create a stance on player safety while the shield faces a ton of lawsuits on the matter. NFL PR is having a field day with how the masses eat up what they have allowed to published. They are looking like heroes ridding the game of these heathens.

No one is arguing that the players are saying the evidence isn't real or that they are saying anything but they aren't guilty. This again just shows how the players are fighting every step of it against a mountain of evidence.
