I'm just glad the Cowboys are coming in with low expectations instead of Super Bowl ones.

Now when Jason Garrett goes 6-10, Big D can start the rumblings about firing him.

Will be weird if the Giants don't make the playoffs again since it's widely assumed in that situation, Coughlin would be let go. Then we all know what'll happen with Cowher no doubt leaping into the picture.

I like Coughlin though, stable for what will be 8 years.

There have been rumblings about that since before he got the job. He had one great year then his play-calling came under some serious questioning. I think a lot of that may have to do with Tony Romo not exactly being Peyton Manning or Tom Brady at the line. He's more of a gamer than a conductor.

Either way, this year will tell us a lot. I don't expect the Cowboys to get very far, but I think we'll have a good season and we've kinda re-tooled this team so that we can build on that success in the future.

The NFL is a passing league and no one is going to be able to pass effectively against Philadelphia (barring injuries). Hell, Assante Samuel is now their damned nickel back and he's a top 10 league corner.

Dallas will get their mojo back. They're too talented not too, and the Giants always have good teams.

It's gonna be a fun season in the NFC East, that's for sure.

Dallas will. Miles Austin already proved he can beat Nnamdi and none of the other guys can cover Dez Bryant.

Nevermind they still don't have anyone who can stop Witten.

They can still be gashed on the ground anyway.

All the teams in the division regressed because of what Philly did they added all that talent while the Giants and Cowboys were doing nothing basically during free agency.

Dallas cut some much needed dead weight, get their QB back, and made their offensive line younger. Does losing Roy Williams, Sam Hurd, and Marion Barber mean we regressed?

I'm excited to revisit this thread when Philly doesn't win the division and doesn't even make the playoffs.

You can buy all the players you want and make your team look unbeatable on paper but, take it from a Dallas fan, that shit doesn't work.

Yeah, he's saying we regressed because Philly improved. We didn't regress though. They just got better. We were bad last year. We improved.

Early in the FOX broadcast of the Eagles-Steelers preseason game, sideline reporter Pam Oliver had a tidbit regarding the “Dream Team” label applied by the Eagles by backup quarterback Vince Young.

Oliver said that the Eagles are “sick of the whole thing.” She also said that, before the game, Vick told her, “We have enough pressure. We do not need to add any more.”

She also said that the team wants to portray an image not of glamor but of a hard-working, blue-collar mentality.

The front office should have thought about that before they rounded up a bunch of guys whose names connote luxury more than lunch pail.
