I would tend to agree. However, look at some of the blowout losses in December and in the playoffs- Romo has a tendency to turn the ball over in bunches. That hurts any team, but I do agree with your statement- when things go right with the Cowboys, the praise for Romo (and I might be biased because of what I hear in Redskin territory) is very muted.

I guess we will see what happens in these next 2 weeks but if Dallas tries to get rid of Romo, that would be asinine.

My guess would be that, if Romo shits the bed and doesn't get into the playoffs, or bows out of the playoffs early, I think Dallas would seriously consider moving him and going in a different direction at quarterback. There are a couple teams, specifically Miami, that would probably love to immediately install a quarterback like Romo into their starting lineup.

I think they would consider it, but I also don't think Jerry Jones would let it happen. I pretty much threw that out there for discussion to see what the opinion was.

OK, maybe not, but a fan has to have hope. I just want the Birds to finish 8-8 and go into 2012 with a full off-season and hope.

I suspect the entire NFC does not want this 6-8 team making the playoffs this year.
