Davey is genuinely happy & excited about being there. He did the WWE thing for Eddie's benefit but had they been signed I think they would have flamed out because Davey never wanted to work the schedule. He has a fire right now he lacked his last year or two in ROH.

TJP had that fire but is getting frustrated. If you listened to him on VOW, right before he signed with TNA, he said he was getting exhausted freelancing and wanted the luxury of "here is your plane ticket, here is your hotel, rinse/repeat" and simply being told where to be & when without the stress of hustling for bookings & being your own boss. And he was Mr. TNA on Twitter the way Davey is now. But if you read his timeline lately, and some of the stuff he posted tonight, he's getting frustrated about never being used.

If it were my company I would book the fuck out of the guys like that who WANT to work, are willing to work hard, and actually like being in TNA. The guy loves being Manik, even though I think it was dumb to do that whole emotional story line of the homeless gypsy wrestler finally getting a contract...and then they put him under a fucking mask and blow the whole thing. TNA gonna TNA.

TJP can put on a good mid-card workman-like match in his sleep while unhappy. He needs to be booked more. He should be featured weekly. Just 5-8 minutes...puts on a nice basehit match that is DIFFERENT then what the WWE gives (they never do lucha-infused shit).

But, I totally agree. They need to filter out the rest of the shit that is just cashing checks like Anderson. You can just tell, live, when the guy is there just to collect a check. TNA is filled with'em.
