Deeper offense and defense playbooks that convey a teams philosophy rather than the generic stuff we have now.

Custom playbooks to at least give us the chance to make our PBs the way we want.

Stretched out ratings a la Madden.

The ability to change team's offensive and defensive philosophies outside of Dynasty Mode and have it actually work. Too many teams don't their right defense or offensive philosophy sliders set to where they play accurately in comparison to real life.

Player weight, momentum and physics. No more twitchy gameplay.

No more male cheerleader shots post-play. Focus on the FIELD post-play.

Players entering the stadium and warming up on the field pre-game a la last gen. We want to see the guys Corso and Co. will shine in the game as they talk about him, not an overview of the stadium.

Line splits

Accurate height/weight measurements in accordance to physical attributes. No more 6-0, 250 A+ STR DTs and 6-4, 300 C- STR DTs.

Things I think can be improved:

- PRESENTAION!!! Come on guys, still NO PLAYER ENTRANCES. Crap crowd, stale commentary.
- ZERO stat tracking for online games. Something must be done here.
- Option pitches are bad. QBs with their knees down tossing it from behind their head.
- Defensive man coverage is a bit strong.
- No Athletic Director mode yet.
- Still some twitch running animation.
- No field deterioration.
- need some new equipment.
- Not sure, but are the Sliders still broken?
- Need more momentum
- And DII teams please.
- Oh and a spring game or something new to Dynasty mode.

IV. MODES/FEATURES

Take game planning out of the pre game/time outs and put it in the week before the game. Plan your game according to scouting reports on the upcoming team. If their an air it out team have a time table to commit time to studying the pass game, more time on the pass game and shutting it down runs the reward factor of shutting down the air, but the risk factor of being burnt on the ground.

EA has a chance if they would add a calander ala RTG for Dynasty mode in which you have three/four "practice" periods to focus on players and schemes from opposing teams. This would need more detail than anything else but they're on the right train with game planning, just the wrong track.


I haven't really gotten a chance to get familiar with this game yet. That's a couple things that popped into my head off the bat though.

I would really like a run/pass commit system like madden has had so that when cheeseballs are calling playaction on 3rd and 31 my defense doesnt bite like it has been all day. No matter if I call zone, man, zoneblitz, whatever they always bite on playaction and its ridiculous when everyone knows its coming.

- Can Sign More than 25 Recruits (Most Schools Sign Like 30 Kids a Year, I.E. Alabama)

I agree with just about everything you posted, but schools can only take 25 recruits per recruiting class anyway even though teams often oversign. The SEC (the largest conference of offenders) just passed a rule in limiting class signings to 28 as well. For the time being, I'm fine with a limit of 25.

I think 85 man rosters and an early enrollee system need to be in place before you can oversign.

Right now, I say the wish list for me, in its simplest terms is this...

1) Gameplay realism -- Should be #1 every year. They need to dramatically work toward realistic gameplay...this includes many things, such as changing the animations and how players react to one another. apexbronx's videos show you A LOT in terms of why this game doesn't play like real football, and the theme is generally the animations and how the pixels react to one another needs to be dealt with. And, I can't say this enough...but...GAME SPEED. Terrible. They could also work on doing what Madden did and changing getting the ratings to be lower. All of this goes into potential real sim type gameplay, and more.

2) Atmosphere -- This is self explanatory. Turn on a football game...numerous varieties, write down everything that is not in the game, and then, put it in the game.

3) Customization -- Everything should be customizable in this game, period.

and, for a fourth...re-design the entire look of the game...menus, etc. Put recruiting in its own hub, that makes recruiting feel like a big thing and not just a ho hum task. Do what Madden did for Franchise with recruiting and put a hub.

-Put coaches on the sidelines. Since the coach is the most important part of the team, why isn't he there?
-Spring game in dynasty. the more realistic the dynasty is, the better.

-The chain gang. On 3rd and 1, and it's a close call, they should send the chain gang out like they used to do.

-More penalties. You shouldn't have to change the sliders to get the calls.

-Heisman Trophy Presentation

-Better animantion for players on the sidelines. They look like crap.

-More realistic challenges. In my dynasty, i caught a touchdown pass late in the 4th quarter, and they fuckin challenged the spot of the ball. BULLSHIT!

My one request:

Force all of the NCAA devs to watch a real college football game and then play NCAA Football 10.

If they think that NCAA 10 did a good job mimicking the real game, shoot them all and get a new dev team

- Make it harder. on heisman as a receiver, i regularly get 150-200 yards and a touchdown or 2. i've won the heisman 3 years in a row. bullshit
- Ability to attend junior colleges, FCS schools, etc.
- Ability to participate in stuff outside of games. For instance, if you have a test schedule on a day, you actually have to take the test. You have the ability to participate in pickup basketball games, and sometimes, you're "late for class." so u have to sprint around the campus to make it to your next subject. I would fall in love with that.
- A continuation of the above one. if you play in a pickup game, you could be "seen" by the coach. you could then transfer your character over to NCAA basketball 11 and use him in a career mode.

Dynasty Mode:
- 85 man rosters
- Rename "pocket passer" type QB's to "pro style"
- Rename "scrambler" type QB's to "duel threat"
- Make athletes actual athletes, not just a WR, QB, CB, HB in disguise. So make players have attributes to play a combo of positions, for example make the player have good route running and catching abilities as well as man and zone coverage abilities.
- Make the majority of scrambler/duel threat QB's black
- Make the majority of pocket passer/pro style QB's white
- Fix the searching function. I searched for a receiving FB and there were zero FB's on the list. So fix tendencies I guess
- Every team in the game should have their own stadium to play in, there should be no college football stadiums that feel like you are playing in the high school playoffs in RTG.
- If a player is a "JUCO" it should tell you if he is a sophomore, junior, or a senior
- When you looks for specific positions in specific states there should be more than enough at each position. There should several players per position per state.
- The ability to schedule home and home series and neutral site games
- Add medical redshirt's to the game
- Named coaches that actually get fired and hired, possibly have a pool of coaches that can be hired and fired and be assistant coaches with their own tendency's. If this is added it would be great, make sure the coaches are randomized for every dynasty.
- More realistic crowd, louder as well in the appropriate situations
- Random faces, on my team there are at least 16 players with the same face. There should be some sort of randomize machine or something.

PRESENTATION!!! - It needs such an overhaul, I don't even feel like listing everything...atmosphere is terrible in the game.

Realistic stadium attendance...closeups of the crowd (like they did back on the last gen systems)...team specific entrances and pre-game traditions...get rid of the same ole overhead view of the stadium - its a nice single cutscene, but all of the time, terrible...put a similar effort to presentation as the Madden team did, look at all of the tv aspects of a game on tv and watch a game of NCAA10...change it...all mascots...cut scenes to head coaches on the sideline (they are the face of teams).

Overhaul on Dynasty Mode...more in depth recruiting...coaching changes...put in a weekly TV show like Madden...
