Denver will make quick work of the series if LA plays like it has against the Rockets.

While my watching of this game was interrupted briefly with curiosity of a game called hockey? What I seen of it I was impressed. The Rockets stepped on the throat of the Lakers early. It seemed like the Lakeshow was stuck in reverse during the first quarter and in the closing minutes finally grinding out enough gears to at least get rolling forward. This was pretty much that classic track meet with the horse (The Lakers) chasing the Carrot (The Rockets) on a stick.

Will the Lakers show up like this on Sunday? No. I believe that the Mamba will spit some serious venom into the veins of his players, literally threatening death to them should they lose. I can see Kobe and the rest of the Lakers redeeming themselves but if they think they can just "turn it on" when they want, they're in serious trouble. Sometimes it takes a game 7 for a team like L.A. to hit the switch and destroy the opposition. I'll go ahead and say the Lakers win game 7.

How can anybody realistically think the Lakers have what it takes to win the Finals? Talent wise there's no question they're the best team. But come on.. show a little heart. Last night was embarassing for Lakers fans I'm sure.

Assuming they make it past Houston, Denver is no joke and I wouldn't be surprised if they knock LA off. If not I seriously doubt they beat Cleveland. I really hope Brooks and Battier catch fire in Game 7 and eliminate these arrogant pricks.

Its hard to put a finger on what these guys are doing right now.. its like they're not trying one night, and then busting ass the next. I still think they're going to destroy Houston in game 7, but this strategy DEFINITELY isnt going to work against Denver.. and if you get past them it MOST DEFINITELY isnt goin to work against Cleveland.

If I didnt have big money on LA reaching the finals.. id bet on Denver, and cheer for Denver.. cause this LA team is showing no heart rite now while the Denver team is showing tons of heart. But I think they'll get their shit together and roll thru Houston game 7 and then put it tough on Denver and go up 2-0. This will be critical to their success, IMO.
