The Original Hot Shots Golf cheat, which was to hold all four shoulder buttons (L1+L2+R1+R2), Then press Up,Up,Down,Up,Left,Right,Right,,Left,Up,Up,Down,Up,Left,Right,Right,Left
In the span of about 3-5 seconds. I only did it once. I don't even think i could do it now.

Maybe finishing Adventure Island 1 and 2 is on an even level though. They were both a bitch because you had to basicly memorize the levels in order to finish stages.

Were they the games made by Hudson Soft? If so, yeah, they were hard as shit. I remember playing the first one at my cousin's house but I don't think we ever beat it.

But I could go on and on...Zelda, any of the GoW's...

MGS4 is so overrated. Just because it has great graphics and "some" epic scenes doesn't make it amazing.

Uncharted 2 is one of my favorite games but the end boss is fucking 10x worse then Bioshocks. Uncharted 2 was a straight up adventure game that took what was best about other game sin its genre and made it almost perfect. Bioshock on the other hand was something never seen before. It was like exploring a whole nother world. The concept of how the world was created was phenomenal.

Haven't played God of War yet but from what i read I don't think I'll like it more, but it could happen. Just based no what Ive read, I think ima like Dante's Inferno more.

As for Red Dead. The game is amazing, but the single player story doesn't even come close to top 20 in gaming. The whole concept was amazing, just the story wasn't.

Haha, you literally unlocked everything. Every course, golfer, and probably club as well.

Oh, and you had to do that on controller 2 while no memory cards were plugged in, so you couldn't save it. Those were fun times..

Those are the ones. How I managed to stick it out to finish those games without breaking a controller (or two) I will never know.

Close second goes too beating Ocarina of Time.

I guess another was in Madden 08 when I was ranked top 500 -- I was pretty proud hah

I got tired of playing near the end.

That was when I had just finished college (grauated in august) and while I was basically living at home with my parents while trying to find a job and studying for some computer certs. I was also in an online madden sim league and an online play league.

I checked up on the sim league a few months ago. Looks like they finally finished up after their 28th season.

Game Informer ( I think it was them) did a Top 100 games of all time issue not long ago. I kept the issue so I can dig it up. It was before GoW3 released but both GoW1 and 2 were on the list. One was 40 something and the other was 70 something I believe. Of all time. I can assure you DI will never make that list.

I got all the Chaos Emeralds in the original Sonic the Hedgehog in one playthrough.

This was on the Genesis and not the emulated discs you can get for the PS2/PS3... no pussy save system here.

I played a whole season of Ken Griffey Jr baseball on the N64 with the Mariners and batted somewhere close to 1.000 with Jr Griffey and the old home run cheat.
