He said that none of the defenses that were on the waiver wire were worth him dropping somebody on his team and he thought he could beat me without a defense. Thats a ridiculous statement in quite a few ways. Calvin is one of the most talented receivers in the NFL but I don't think he's the most talented. I'd say at least Andre Johnson has better natural talent then Calvin does. For Calvin's size, he kind of drops a lot of balls a truly elite receiver should hang on too.

Second, at the end of the day, production is all that matters. Calvin has not put up the numbers an elite receiver does, at least not yet. He's having a good year this year but he's yet to string together several dominating performances in a row. Players aren't measured on what they could be or could have been, but what they have done. So no, Calvin is definitely not the best receiver production wise and probably not talent wise either.
