Who Uses The Shot Stick for Jump Shots in NBA 2k10?

I never used them for jump shots. Just dunks and layups. If you use it for jump shots, do you think it is more effective that way?

I'm just wondering if the shot stick is good for jump shots. I never thought about using them, though. Might try it out. It just seems weird to me to use the stick instead of the shoot button to shoot 3's and stuff.

Always used the shot stock. Much more stuff to customize shots with.

It allows you to do more types of shots. Just go through 2K10's shooting tutorial and you'll see all the stuff you can do with the shot stick that you can't do with buttons.

Ahh ok, cuz i just saw a video about it and i was like hmmm should i start trying that? So I guess i'll practice it then use it in games. i only use it for controlling the dunks I use. it just feels weird when I do a jump shot cuz a button seems easier haha

button seems easier to me too for a regular jump shot, I just use the shot stick out of habit.

Yeah so that is why I do button. But I guess if you want to have more control the stick is for you. I try to pull off runners but it seems im always out of range -__-

It's touchy. I'd wait for 2K11 to come out to make the switch.

like prime alluded to you have more options with the shot stick than the button as you can shoot a leaner, as well as more control on the post moves, + dunking and layups feel much more better when using the shot stick

Yeah, but I guess I'll wait for 2k11 to try that out. I'm sure they're keeping it next game.

Marion's alright, I am just not a fan of all-around players (I meant just regular players such as Deng or Diaw), but I don't know why. I like people who are REALLY good in a certain thing. Superstars are a different case. they are REAL good in Everything like kobe.

I've always used the shot stick opposed to the x-button to shoot. I feel as it helps my shot and helps me release it accurately. It also could be the fact that I grew accustom to it. I think it's easier to shoot with the stick. The x-button is ehh.
