Blaine Gabbert, Mizzou - I've seen him play for a couple years, and I've never thought he was an elite QB. I guess he does "look the part". He also did make a big improvement from last year to this year. Still skeptical.
Cam Newton, Auburn - perhaps he should be the best QB by default? He is a bit better passer than Vince Young, but he also played in a screwy offense like Young did. I've never been impressed by his accuracy. He could do well in the NFL, but I doubt it.
Ryan Mallett, Arkansas - I chose him as the best in large part because he actually played in a passing offense. Somewhat inconsistent, but at times he looked unbeatable against tough SEC defenses. To me, he has the best potential, but I heard he was really dumb. Thats not good, but guys like Drew Bledsoe and Dan Marino weren't exactly rocket scientists.
Jake Locker, Washington - has done nothing to impress me. I would argue that he wasn't even that good in college. Will do nothing in the NFL.
Colin Kaepernick, Nevada-Reno - I've never seen him play, so I will withhold my opinion.
Pat Devlin, Delaware - no physical skills whatsoever. Was terrible at Penn State, and couldn't beat out some awful QBs to earn the starting job. Avoid at all costs. Probably owes any draft hype to Joe Flacco and Rich Gannon.
Andy Dalton, TCU - Tough player in college. I don't think he has "it" to be an NFL QB. Reminds me of Craig Krenzel. Maybe that's too harsh?
