True but that middling .500 team found their stride and hasn't lost a game since last December. I am not predicting 19-0 but the 1-2 games they lose this year won't be in the playoffs barring a significant injury at the QB or LB positions.
But again, that happens every year now. Some random team "finds their stride" or "gets hot" or whatever cliche ESPN term we want to use, and surprises people. Green Bay in retrospect looks like they were the best team last year too, but that's in retrospect. I don't think people went into the playoffs thinking they were any kind of shoe-in.

When they were coming off of back to back December losses to the Lions and Patriots and needed to win against the at the time playoff bound Giants and conference leading Bears along with some help to get into the playoffs, there isn't a realistic Packers fan that thought they were going to make the playoffs either.
