Of course I will get Madden 11. Madden 10 online franchise is probably some of the most fun i've had on a video game. They need to get rid of a few things such as the hb direct snap, a couple of wildcat plays, and the insane blocking from goalline formation.

Nope, haven't bought Madden since 06, the game is shit and I'm no sucker. It's unfortunate because if we ever want a good NFL game then we have to stop supporting the crap they put out. So, I don't blame EA one bit, it's the fans fault. It's only EA's job to make money, it's the fans/consumers job to dictate the direction of the market with their $$.

This was the first Madden that I bought since the PS2 and I played it for a grand total of 2 weeks. After that, I realized how bad the offline play was and put it away for good.

So basically... no, I will not be buying Madden 11.

There is a real possibility that I won't get Madden 11. I haven't enjoyed it as much as NCAA. If Backbreaker lives up to the hype, that might be enough for me this year.

for the first time since the madden with eddie george on the cover, madden wont be a day 1 purchase for me. Honestly i dont know if i'll buy it at all. I dont enjoy playing sports games offline and i just dont have time to play online much anymore since my son was born.


Unless backbreaker has customizable rosters where they would reflect NFL roster im 1% interested in that game as well.

I just can't resist the game. However, if I have to switch my defense again to make things work I will be pissed. If anyone has played me before they know I have a certain style of defense (without getting into details lol) and this game just doesn't let it work like the past 10 years. Also, they keep taking plays outta my playbooks that frustrate me. The least they could do is give you the ability to recall your old playbooks. Anyway, they have me by the balls -- I will by it again but only for Xbox360 because it plays better IMO.

I think that's part of my problem. Most people I play with are on PS3 but I like how it plays on 360 better. Still prefer NCAA though.

I have the exact same issue. Anyway my PS3 is having freezing issues now so I maybe strictly Xbox360 till it returns from repair. But yeah most all my rivals are PS3. The Xbox GGML guys have been really cool thou. You should check it out.

Backbreaker looks absolutely terrible, a pile of garbage.

But yes i will be getting madden 11 on opening day free when i win the tournament at the local blockbuster.

The tackling is so much more realistic and different every time. I'm getting tired of Madden. BackBreaker is a lot different than any other football game out there and is a breath of much needed fresh air. Plus... It's 10$ cheaper.


Ohh and 2 vs 2 online. Can't wait for that. Sounds fun as hell.
