On the final play of the game, Tigers quarterback Marcus Randall took the ball and threw it from his own 18 yard line as far as he could downfield. Soon after Randall released the ball, triumphant Kentucky fans stormed the field around him. The pass was well short of the end zone by about 20 yards. However, the ball was deflected off the hands of LSU wide receiver Michael Clayton between the Kentucky 25 to 20 yard lines, into the hands of LSU wide receiver Devery Henderson just short of the 15 yard line. Henderson broke the shoestring tackle of the last Kentucky defender, and ran into the end zone with the game-winning touchdown.

the effing LSU game was as painful for me as watching the titans lose the Super Bowl.

January, 2003. Giants up 38-14 on the 49ers in the NFC Wildcard game & go on to lose 39-38.

I still blame my wife for that one. When it was 38-14 I came to the dinner table & the game was on the tv in the kitchen. She hands me a plate & I sit down to eat & keep watching. When she sits down, she sees the score, grabs the remote & changes the channel figuring it's in the bag. I shout "What are you doing?" She's like, it's 38-14, the game's over," but she turns back quick. By that time the Niners had already scored. I told her, "See, what you did?" And the rest is history.

I seriously considered divorce after that game but I hung on to her anyway.

The raiders made it to the AFC championship game and lost to the bills 51-3 in 1990. That memory still stings pretty bad.

This and the tuck rule playoff games against the Pats.

College: 1984 South Carolina was #2 in both polls going into what seemed to be an easy win vs Navy. Navy beat the crap out of SC. Nebraska, the #! team in the land, lost to the Sooners the very same day. The Gamecocks would have been the #1 team in the nation going into the season ending game vs Clemson. Needless to say, that was and is the best season ever in SC history.

The Bears and Steelers were tied for the #1 pick after getting the worst records in the league that year. The Bears lost the coin-toss and the Steelers got the #1 pick.

They drafted a guy named Terry Bradshaw.

2nd....is losing the super bowl with Grossman at QB I think.

Yeah I mean.. it was fucking great to be there.. but just how high you felt when Hester scored ran back the opening kick.. then how low you felt watching Grossman try to move the ball. Pretty brutal.
