The whole thing seems rushed, but it's been in the works too long. Perhaps they should have done a soft opening on devices like Roku and AppleTV and PCs, then mobile and consoles after. Because I know there were a lot of complaints about PS3/4 being slow yesterday as well.

Roll out has to get a solid F from me, maybe a D overall.

They are in big trouble if they don't get things ironed out by the end of the free trial. They won't lose the hardcores, but casuals & nostalgia people like KOF will handwave this shit and never come back. And those are the people they need to hook to make this profitable. They aren't getting a million+ buys from current fans.

And that's the catching point. We discussed this a few times before launch. They had the hype and the hook of a free week. But it's working against them. It's akin to opening a restaurant with a broken grill. Yeah, you're getting people in the door and then product is crap so you lose customers that are essential to you hitting the bottom line. Would these casuals consider coming back to a service that has had SO many problems? Maybe a fraction. I think another point is the "free" week. It should have been no strings attatched. As is, you have a lot of people seeing the hold on their payment as a cleared payment. You're going to have more people upset when automatic renewals come up. They've done so much damage. The hardcores will bitch and moan and end up buying anyway. The people on the fence about it were all but pushed over to the other side of said fence by WWE.

Here are the Roku work arounds i've figured out.

-Here is how you turn off the parental controls. You have to go to wwe.com. If the parental controls are set to "off", turn them on. Then turn it off again. This seems to reset things. It not only disables the parental controls on the live stream, but it also "unlocks" all of the previously missing content that was apparently behind the parental control wall (every ECW PPV for example, the entire Attitude Era, etc).

-VOD works if you choose things off of the schedule. Hey, it's something. Enjoy the NXT Special & Bret/Shawn Face Off again & again!

I just did this, I didnt have that many ECW PPVs last I checked

Live stream should be fine. It's been perfect from the jump. NAHSTE works for MLBAM, he says the live streams are the easy part.
