You have to realize that the people here won't give you the advice you need, only the advice they would want to hear if they asked the same question. Obviously, they care about themselves more than you.
 
Look at the upcoming games list for each system and decide on that. There really isn't no "great" game out there right now IMO, not even TitanFall. You can also grab the console your friends have instead of being a loner when it comes to MP online games. I have both consoles but my PS4 gets more play at the moment. #nofanboy

Yes it does... it wasn't a cheap shot. Please go read the laundry list of bugs on this very site for the issues our own users are having. There is a buttload of them. Are they crippling... no!... very annoying.... yes.

PS4 plays games with none of the issues (nearly) that XB1 has... that doesn't mean PS4 is better. I'm in the middle on this one.

Mesa your best bet is to read through the threads for each here and find what issues each has and decide which ones are OK for you.

Fanboys on either side aren't going to be helpful and we see a lot of it on this thread.

If you want a pure gaming system go with the PS4. It's got a higher ceiling in the long run for video games, It has better raw performance than the Xbox One which will show later on in the consoles life when developers are able to push the limits of each console. The PS3 was a great example of this when it came out with games such as Uncharted 3, The Last of Us, God of War 3, InFamous 2, etc.. You noted that you love baseball games and PS4 has MLB The Show which is the best Baseball video game out there. Call of Duty you can play on both. In my opinion Sony has always put together more and a stronger list of quality exclusives that you can't play on anything but their systems.

I'd also note that you shouldn't be in a big rush to get either, both consoles are still very new and like all new products, they lack many great titles and variety.

Football season around the corner. Fantasy football is integrated. Your favorite team not playing? Snap some football while playing the game so you don't miss a highlight. The Xbox team is constantly listening to feedback from the customers and putting out monthly dashboard updates that correspond from the feedback. Granted all the Xbox One does, it doesn't work 100 % but its innovation so what do you expect? That's why they are rolling out the monthly dashboard updates to perfect it.


Take a step into the future, buy an Xbox One.
